I want to explore more overall mouse grips & setups across different esports. As a huge fan of competitive fortnite (and even placed #429 world cup W1 solos west) I wanted to explore the now GOAT of fortnite: Peterbot.
His grip is... extremely interesting and also a little terrifying. So here is his MnK grip & posture analysis

I keep my back straight keyboard tilted like 80 to 90 degrees and my mouse for large movements my arm medium movement my wrist and for micro adjustments my fingers I use my pinky and thumb for builds index to edit and side buttons are also used my keybinds right now are was and right click to move right shift cone v wall m4 stairs m5 floor and d to edit and g for interact and c to sprint and caps for trampoline bounce pad etc i have 360 movement with all builds and q for pickaxe and 12345 for weapons how can i make everything more optimal i use raw accel to get good flicks and use a sensitivity of 3.2 3200 dpi which is downscaled with raw accel to 1600dpi

@@Jxllen.I’m one of the most mechanical, highest earned professional fortnite players on Oceania, the worst region for fortnite. I have te same finger placement as Peter, pinky on a, middle finger on w and ring finger on s. This leaves the pointer to be free to press multiple binds as it’s not needed for movement, also edit on release helps
@@cheese_2_drippy when you type with two hands on a keyboard, and your index fingers are on f and j keys, take the right hand off of the keyboard and move ring finger to w. thats how he plays.

He just grips his mouse that feels the most natural to him. It's like a fingertip/palm grip mix, giving him a bit of space to use his fingers, but it's mostly for great stability.

Do you advice getting a keyboard wrist rest? If yes which one do you advice for a 60%? Im worried is gonna me sweat or uncomfy
I forced myself to use one cuz Peterbot did and trust me it doesn’t help at all. Tried multiple wrist rests too and he’s the only pro that uses it. An anomaly

I have same mouse grip, lol :D i have pickaxe and shotgun on scroll, so i need my middle finger only for scroll.
why pickaxe and shotgun on scroll, u dont use scroll reset and pickup?
@@joncius1450 nah, my friends also told me. But my muscle memory is used to it. I can reset easily without missing reset. I was trying reset on scroll, but its faster for me with reset on right mb:D i can easily swap on shotgun after every Edit, when i have shotgun on scroll.

Guys if u want to improve fast, avoid this videos, grip and posture is more personal choice than another setting on fps games more than sensitivity, so pls just grab your mouse and sit properly on a comfort way, if you play enough you will notice what you doing wrong and you will be adapting your grip and posture, you have to meet yourself this is not a magic trick
I actually say the exact same thing in these videos - how you grip dependent on your individual anatomy and preference.
BUt it leads to different muscle groups being utilized and can clue you in onto why you might be feeling some discomfort in certain regions
