@aanaan2828 It is still safer to close the lid loosely. I have heard first hand that a glass container exploded when the person tried to open it after a few days of fermentation. He wasn't even making wine but just made some wheat glue for art project and stored the glue in a glass container. Somehow there was enough natural yeast in the glue and fermentation started.
