Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) on Wednesday accused the federal government of breaking the compact with the states following a Supreme Court ruling on Monday that cleared the way for the Border Patrol to remove razor wire installed by Texas along the U.S.-Mexico border.
In a statement, Abbott said, “President Biden has refused to enforce [immigration] laws and has even violated them.”

Legal immigration takes a long time to do. I have family members that did apply for legal immigration. The problem is allowing people to illegally coming in and skipping all that process.
Getting documents for a US citizen takes long too sometimes the government just sucks lol

I am a legal immigrant. Government scholar, genetics degree, software background. It took me 4 years and bunch of money to get a green card. I want to contribute to this country and make it better and stronger. It makes my blood boil to see these uneducated people just walking in.

I went through the same process too, but I was spared from spending much of that money because I got my citizenship through the US Navy

National Guard? Or Texas State Guard? There’s a difference. National Guard command can be taken over by the Federal government, while state guards cannot - those remain under the command of the state governor.
Nat guard can only be federalized with permission of the governor or an act of congress
