My school banned jackets, sweaters, hoodies, coats, etc. The principal said he made that rule because they were a distraction. I hate this rule so much because I am insecure and I usually use my jacket as security. Without it, I feel exposed and uncomfortable.:(

At my school we have to walk around with our pencil cases in our right hand (yes, specifically our right hand, I don't know why.) because they've worked out the 30 seconds it takes to get your pencil case out (probably less in reality) over the course of the school year adds up to 10 minutes "lost" from our learning time.
Us too in our grade this kid got SUPER mad just because nobody was trading him and another time two boys(they were both my friends)were trading pokemon cards in the bathroom for money by the way I was in 3rd grade
I remember back at my Elementary school the word "easy" was banned from being said. It was suppose to be because you could make other students feel "less intelligent" if you said something at school was easy.
I am in fifth grade, and when I was in fourth, my teacher banned doodling pictures. She also allowed the girls to sit and talk together and all the boys (including myself) weren't. She also sent me to the principal's office because I was whispering something during a stupid-ass movie she was playing. At the end of the year, she said how much she hated the class, and that she was going to teach the kindergarten kids for the next school year. Nowdays, when she is walking aroud the school, I don't try to make eye contact. She was my least favorite elementary school teacher.
If they’re so concerned about students’ attire, implement school uniforms. There’s a blatant distinction between formal wear and casual wear. I always considered school wear being on the formal side. I’ll never understand why schools bother implement a dress code when they’ll look like any other person on the street. My schools even when I was a kid never had school uniforms and that was just odd to me.

#ridiculousBans : Most teachers ban going to the toilet in class, even at 'that time'. Also my school banned toilet paper for a short amount of time, until they got too many complaints from parents. Seriously though, that was in middle school, how are you ment to not use toilet paper? (You had to ask the teacher for toilet paper at that time, and they gave you one piece, if you were lucky.) How is not going to the toilet ment to improve your education?
At my school, that was never a problem. Though they advised you to go during play-time rather than during class time, which is understandable. The best part of it all is that even one time a BOY stated he had to go because it was 'that time'. And the teacher let him go. That was funny.

In my school if you got in trouble at lunch you had to sit at a table by yourself called the delay table and you had to walk around the playground for the whole recess until it was time to come in. This happened to me once😢
I had teachers try to tell me I couldn't use the bathroom .. I'd get up in the middle of their lecture and make a huge scene leaving for the bathroom. .they called my mom and she ripped into them so hard the teachers were scared shitless to tell me I couldn't use the bathroom.
