Just had an experience on this road very recently. So, my friend and I went to see if there was anything on this road that was supposedly haunted. Once we got passed the distillery, this was about 10:15 pm, we kept going until we stopped on the right-hand side underneath the trees. Put the car in park, rolled up the windows and turned off the car, plus the headlights as well. A few seconds roll on by when we saw what looked to be in the distance a bright orange light floating near the trees. Didn't think much of it because I thought at first it was just some fireflies roaming around, no big deal. He decided shortly after that to cut this experiment short, so I turned the key and, my greatest fear came true when I couldn't turn the ignition on. He thought I was joking with him, but the look on my face said completely otherwise. Our hearts just dropped at that instant and he went out to check under the hood to make sure everything was working right. This was his car we were in and it's 21 years old, but it works damn near perfect because he worked on it for the last few years. I had my phone light on throughout this shaken scene, when at one point, through my phone light and the car lights, I jumped back in very quick terror as I thought I saw what MAY have been the actual dimly lit figure of Mr. Staley himself. After so many tries, he finally shut the hood and hopped back in the car. Somehow, he saw that the gear was in drive and placed it in neutral. That's when it decided to turn on. We got out of there shaking scared. We were discussing for a while what that was, and it might've been possible that I just accidently left the gear in drive, but at the same time, we're both not convinced of that whatsoever! Let me just say this, I used to believe in the paranormal for 10 years before I concluded that it was really bogus but knowing that we both saw that orange light in the distance, then the car shut off, probably told us otherwise. I will stand by this experience until the day I die!
