I sometimes judiciously drill into the lower bout of the instrument adjacent to the end pin jack and gel super glue a ebony strap button into the gutar with a brass washer of appropriate size around it serving as a beauty ring or collar. This is a permanent fix. It is easy to strap up,and takes the wear and tear of stress off of the end pin jack. Just use a pronounced fluted end pin of high quality ebony. This may not work for every one,but it works for me
