Jay Halstead/Erin Lindsay || Unsteady [3x01]

Well. I had this dumb notion that if I could just get to the Season 3 premiere the agonizing over Linstead every hour of every day would go away...but it didn't. So I thought I'd slowly make the 3x01 video to bide my time until next Wednesday. And then I finished the video in one day. Damn it. Why isn't it next Wednesday yet???
THAT PREMIERE THOUGH!!! It had all the angst and excitement and longing that a Linstead shipper could hope for. I'm literally dying for the conversations that are bound to happen next week. The gratitude and confusion and relief from Halstead versus the guilt and appreciation and concern from Lindsay. Holy OTP. How does each episode and each season make me love them even more? Anyway, I've been waiting to use this song since about halfway through the hiatus and I've already picked (at least) one for the next Linstead video(s). Loved making this and can't wait for each new week of footage. That hiatus was way too freaking long!
I think my very favorite thing about the episode was the Olinsky/Lindsay bond happening. Him calling her (WITHOUT TELLING HANK and knowing he wouldn't want her there at least at first--I loved it!!) and giving her the knife and shooting her concerned glances nonstop. It was beautiful. I've always adored Olinsky, but this really sealed the deal.
Also, the Romgess scenes were unexpectedly good and I already have a video for them in the works. I fear my affection for them is making it really hard to like Ruzek right now...stupid underdog shipping (just kidding, I love it).

OMG. I AM CRYING MY EYES OUT. I was NOT ready. This is so perfect, in every way. That song is AMAZING for them and you captured their whole journey so far perfectly.
