Fantastic video! It's amazing that this ship was around from 1939 to the present (though no longer recognisable as a ship.) As you can tell by my channel, I am a huge fan of the America and her many lives. This is really an interesting perspective.
I doubt it. By now, I wouldn't have thought there's anything of America visible above the water. Nothing but a layer of rust being dissolved by the never relenting sea.
I'm a big fan of Oceanliner Designs they did an awesome documentary on this ship the other month. Think I might explore other ill fated liners (bar the obvious Titanic)
@JamesFoxTimeTravelArtist I live Oceanliner Designs too! Mike and Sam over at Historic Travels do amazing videos on Maritime History. As for shipwreck ideas, here are a couple: - Mary Rose (1511) - Raised in 1982 and is now preserved in a museum - S.S Great Britain (1843) - Was an abandoned wreck until 1970 when she was brought back to Bristol and restored as a museum ship.
ruclips.net/video/Wkg8XKs9H-s/видео.htmlsi=3IR0dwZkLTqpw38G I may need to update this one! Mary Rose would be quite a time jump. The ship Queen Elizabeth could be interesting too. Also battleships
Why did they not bring the ship to land put it together and built a meuseum for it. How did it break up in the first place and why did they let it happen. Tell me the story of this ship
This is is completely unrelated, but heres an idea, US state governors through time, 1 box for every state. i dont want to see all of thier lives, each govenor is only shown when they were govenor
If this ship was rescue hurry it will be nice, maybey restore it or just make an museum things like SS UNITED STATES. Imagine if the SS UNITED STATES meet the SS AMERICAN STAR, it will cool right?
The ship actually sailed alongside SS United States and was owned by the same company in the 1950s. Also it was sadly pretty much doomed after it got stuck on the beach because shortly after (a few days if I remember correctly) strong waves snapped it in half.
I visited the wreck in 2003 on a dirt bike tour. It was an amazing sight, but I remember the stern still being visible then. Great video though.

The strange thing is that collapsed in my Country.
Wow
and it was the same ship type like titanic ocean liner
Was 2018 the last year SS America was seen on the surface? Because I don’t know if there is any more recent pictures past 2018 or not.
Most recent cc commons image I could source

Can you do Air Force One through time
I was looking into this ship just the other day and thinking of how it would look in a "Ships through time" video. That or I'm a time traveller 😄

@JamesFoxTimeTravelArtisOh yeah, I forgot you did the S.S Great Britain. The USS Arizona would be a good battleship.
Funnily enough I've already done that one too! ruclips.net/video/6U85heooxQc/видео.html
