2023 UPDATE! Just wanted to come back here and seriously express my thanks. I wanted to try a str/faith build and when i seen this video i was super excited to try a roleplaying character. I NEVER expected this to be so damn OP! Im literally getting through all tthe bosses easier than i ever did on my strength playthrough, i didnt think i could get actually more powerful! And being able to now use faith weapons+actually getting to use incantations, the game is sooo much more fun and im WRECKING all enemys before i even reach them lol! Thank you so much man honestly, im sure this was hard as hell to put together and required a hell of a lot of effort; i just cannot believe how damn powerful this character is. BTW if youre watching in 2023, THIS IS STILL OP AS HELL!
I just tried it out and I have serious issues with Godrick. He is stopping almost all of my Praying Strikes and when I hit him, I only do around 200 damage. I must be doing something wrong 😕 EDIT: I didn’t level up my weapon lol 😅
I have to say, I got this game in March. And stopped playing for two months till I stumbled across your channel. Through your content alone this quickly became my favourite game. Keep doing what you're doing, you have a great balance of information and entertainment.
This is so great. I was pure mage my first playthrough and wanted to do something with close range in my second playthrough, but couldn't figure it out, so I ended up respecing and playing your Dragon Incantation build. THIS is definitely going to be how I do my third playthrough. A lategame video about different seals boosting Aspect incantations, etc, would be fun.
This is the most comprehensive guide I've seen on this platform, especially for new players. The use of the map tracking was especially brilliant. Thank you for your efforts.
The guides are really cool, I enjoy them immensely. But something else not gameplay related I really wanted to share is how much I enjoy your videos as entertainment. The music you select is perfect, the scene changes and edits are great, and the writing is informative and clever. Your videos are fun to watch, thanks for sharing them with us!
I love the alternate take of the typical lifesteal build!! Very well put together and super informative. Can’t wait to see your potential archer build 🤞
I started this game a week ago and just decided to restart so I found this video. And just wow the amount of effort into this video is insane especially showing how to upgrade stats. This video deserves a like and a sub 👍.
you make everything sound fun and easy, I'm a sucker for mages but your melee builds feels just as interesting that's honestly a talent, your content is really well made (and I'm obsess with your accent)
The best seal for this build as far as roleplay that boosts golden order incantations unfortunately scales off int and faith. So literally any other seal is better, but you could do 2 seal casts like mages do with staves, but I personally found that tedious. I only did it when I needed the boost in boss fights that sucked. Finished my mage only dual staffing it a few times
I just wanted to say that you have completely made elden ring 1000 x more enjoyable for me with this build! I love your content, did the vagabond/death knight for awhile but this build is where it's at
Your not wrong with the map colors. All gear is relevant to is corresponding colors. Limgrave - green - dex Calid- red - strength Lunaira Lake - blue - magic Atlas Plateau - yellow - faith
Paladin is my favorite build, strength + faith, but heavy spear and greatshield is my preferred playstyle, so I use the Treespear along with the beastial seal for my incantations (scales with str+fth) and the Erdtree bow for ranged (fth scaling). The Treespear is one of only two split damage weapons in the game that can be further buffed with greases or with spells, sacred blade incantation brings its damage to 900+ by the end. Siluria's Tree is another heavy spear with great str+fth scaling. A version on this with arcane+ strength with a dash of faith thrown in is a great combo too once you get the bloody helix and later Moghs sacred spear, the dragon communion seal for incantations and the pulley bow for ranged (best str scaling bow- not great but still ok). Any enemy that can bleed goes down fast and Moghs sacred spear still packs enough of punch to enemies immune to bleed to be good.
Bro I just had to comment, like Holy shitt I recently followed your int/Dex build which just made the game soo much more fun imo. Gonna follow this build as well just wanted to say thank you soo much!!
OMG!! This build is awesome mate! I was getting bored with the way I build my character and you open my eye! Thank you. I will definitely try other of your builds.
Would be nice if you added a "checklist" at the end of the videos....while I don't mind watching them over and over again...a list of steps would be super appreciated...even in image form. :)
Wow!!! Thank you for this. I got the game a little over a month ago. Tried several toons. This one was made for me! Just for giggles I tried Margit and Godrick solo. No wolves. No summoned help. Face tanked them both. Thank you for all your help!!!!
Nizar thanks a lot for this build. It took me hours upon hours to get everything but boy was it worth it! I learned so much and I have barely even started! Thanks again for this guide!
Man, what an amazing build. Flat out! I upgraded to pc gaming recently and had to get elden ring on steam to run a second play through, and I chose this build. What a blast it’s been thus far. Thanks a ton mate!
One of the most useful videos on playing Paladin in the Elden Ring. I've watched the one from Fextralife where they suggest some stuff that is similar to this one, but starting and playing through the game with sword and shield and relying on shield (barricade shield that I think has been nerfed since their guide release) in the early levels without a ton of endurance or hp is pain in the butt, tbh. With your guide, on the other hand, the great stars makes all the difference. I'd say, some kind of spear/halberd/hammer rather than a mace with huge aah spikes would fit Paladin class better if we're talking roleplay, but otherwise it's cool af. Btw, what would be your suggestion for the armor?
Your video dropped at the best moment possible. I've completed my first play through about a week ago. I've just recently found the "Great Stars" weapon. LET'S GO!
You come up with some seriously fun builds. I got back into Elden Ring after having not played for a while and I'm really enjoying the builds you come up with!
This means a lot man - in Ds1 i played paladin with great club and sunbros, in Ds2 played full Havel plus bit of faith, and in Ds3 lothric knight ugs faith knight build - all my playthroughs are str faith, but in elden ring was about to lose hope - this build saved my og paladin vision
Strictly from a role playing prospective I cannot get over a Holy Paladin using a weapon like Great Stars. A truer option might be the Great Mace. Also, Unless you specify a backstory of some sort of Dragon Cult Knight I think it makes sense thematically to stick to Two Fingers Incantations and possible the Erdtree and Golden Order ones. The Demon Paladin build is awesome. Love your contribution to the community brotha!
All death so to speak lead back to the erdtree this is the way of things as a wise Dog once said “Heresy is not native to the world, it is but a contrivance.”
While I'm probably done playing until some DLC, I still enjoy watching your videos. Got the 1000 gamerscore on Xbox and platinum on PS. I was way too addicted to the game lol.
Now that I've gone through the game twice in really enjoying player builds and I was wanting to do a paladin type but I had no idea what to do for incantations and such (which in my mind a paladin was always a warrior with holy magic) cause I've avoided them and sorceries like the plague, mainly cause I'm completely unsure of them and lacking any experience in them. Your samurai bleed build was so fantastic and that was what I followed on my second character, my first was a dex vagabond I eventually converted to a dual wield ruins GS/GS build near the end. I wanted to make him a paladin then just didn't know how to work it. I can't fathom this one being any less than great and thanks for the effort not only in giving great builds but at least for me these have been great learning points that allowed me to customize things to what works for me and build my own character settups. Once you finally play a fromsoft game it seems its easy to become addicted to the build freedom. Again appreciate the effort a lot.
I followed many of your builds already. It's just so much fun to create those builds and smash the game early on. Please definitely also make a n advanced video for the later game!
I would recommend wild strikes and cols infusion on the great stars. At least until you get faith high enough for fire damage. Prayerful strike is great on longer weapons, makes it much eayser to land the hits, great on golems halberd if you have the strength for it.
This is 100% right , it’s so good start of game but it’s so hard to hit larger bosses mid game and u have to get extremely close and the recovery is slow and u get hit after it, I’m gonna switch to wild strikes
Excellent work my man! For all those would-be warriors of Elden ring that aspire to become a faithful combatant as a pally, this is an epic spec nicely done
Ok I'm about 2 years late to the party but your builds are by far the best , had to take a break from wow and got sucked into elden ring and so glad I did
Another great guide Nizar. Would love to see this at end game. Perhaps with a great sword, a sword and shield or maybe 2 swords to give it that Sacred Paladin look.
I love your build videos!! I did your samurai build and it was AMAZING. I just beat the game with it and now starting a new build and looking forward to using this Paladin build to beat the game again!!
Thanks man.. new to the game and it took me over 2 hours to get to the prayerful strike as I did not have the entire map. Looking forward to becoming OP.
I am an idiot. Here i am, 2 years later, a newbie to fromsoft games but i come from nioh, seeing these great builds, thinking to myself i wanna try that. 3 videos in, thinking to myself op early, these guides are awfully hard for a beginner. Low and behold, beginner aint even in the title 😅. I owe you an apology cuz im up here cussing you out and whatnot trying to find this place and throwing a tantrum slowing your videos down. My dumbass didnt even pay attention to the damn title 😅. These videos are still great and inspiring because i certainly have no idea what kind of build i want to go for yet. Right now im a samurai with bleed, but im leaning towards this one. Stay blessed.
I'm at level 140 with this build and a little less than halfway and the trick is knowing what combos to use--I really like this build. The horn attack is no joke. I can't get the timing down for a consistent tail attack but when it lands, it' funny, Now, I'm off to get the Daemon Paladin set and go hunting for Tree Sentinels. Great build--lots of fun--thank you.
I discovered Great Stars by accident and when I found Prayerful Strike...well, they just made SENSE to put together. But I got lured away by a shiny Rusted Anchor and some other builds you put up, so I dropped it. Just remembered it and started looking and here is my favorite build guy doing it. I'm on this, Nizar GG comes through again.
I played through my first run as a dex dual sword ninja. And it was great. Started my 2nd play through as a pure faith and fell madly in love with the game.
Another thing, the Grafted Dragon scales with strength and faith, and is great for small fast enemies that are hard to hit with your mace. It’s good to pick up after you defeat Godrick.
Great videos. I plan to follow the trail you've mapped out in a stream to show off both the game and this build. I was looking for a cool/interesting build to do and this is def it.
While following the guide I ran into the Onyx Lord boss fight by accident. Was I prepared; you bet your a*s I was. Smoked him! Your guides are FIRE Nizar! Keep up the good work!
I just rewatch your videos over and over again. Dude, you are a legit artist. and funny to boot. My wife is like, why do you keep saying, "it was all part of the plan. 1+1=3". haha Got that from you sorcerer build I think.
You don't have to fight the Crucible Knight. Just lead him to the elevator, when he enters the room go up and he will fall to his death. He doesn't care. He's determined to get you. Just an option, with your new power you might want to show it off.
What a dope build, but you crammed so much info into a short video. I'm sure I'll be watching this repeatedly as I move through the early game. Was going to go winged scythe but this is so much cooler.
@@TimcPlays Hey Tim. I just hit level 125 with this build last night. I have my Great Stars to +17 and the starting seal is +16. I went out and got the horn and tail incantations as well since my initial comment. I have my stats that Nizar suggested for level 125. All that being said, for the actual ash of war prayerful strike, I would have to agree with you that it is pretty slow and I found that I could be easily overwhelmed by multiple mobs at once if I wasn’t careful. I’m seeing I have better use for it for 1 on 1 battles with mobs, and bosses. My problem was that I was going into fights trying to always face tank and rely too much on the prayerful strike ash of war to carry all the work. I was definitely playing hopeful and headstrong and I was for sure getting crushed. What I changed for my fighting style for multiple mobs and 1v1 was to rely a little less on prayerful strike and play a bit more strategically with dodges, R1 attacks and R2 attacks and finally saving specific openings in the enemies move set for a couple prayerful strikes or a smart trade or two. And this is all without the tail and horns. Once you get the tail your AoE of going to shoot through the roof. I’ve been able to take out 5-10 mobs at a time in limgrave atleast. At this point I’ve mostly been grinding and exploring, and have only beatin Margit and Godrick. I’m off to actually progress through the game and will use whatever runes I get from Rennala and onwards to cap off to 150. When that happens I plan to change the build over to Nizar’s Demon Pally build to try out. I’ll probably play with that for a bit and when the game is beaten my plan is to respec to a pvp build but I have no idea what that will be yet. Hope this helps let me know how you turn out. Oh! And as for health regen on prayerful strike I am seeing pretty damn good returns, how is your stat distribution looking ?
Yes, a late game video would be nice. I like the Stars too. I do hear that the Elden beast and Rad are not affect by faith though. Though getting smashed by stars and lighting would do the trick I suspect. Good video!
Out of your builds that I've tried so far this one seems to be the most effective early on. This isn't to say your other builds aren't good but once you've gotten greatstars upgraded along with your golden vow you're pretty set. Stars is also a great side weapon once you have Blasphemous Blade for certain bosses that resist it, like Mohg.
A little disclaimer, which doesn't invalidate the build at all, you're gonna skip a lot of quests going to those areas that early, specially Altus Plateau. I like the build, will probably try it out when I get to Altus.
I never got past Rennala in any other saves because I didn't know how to make a good build but I think with this one I might actually beat the game finally
Finally moved to ps5 for the dlc so gotta make a new dude and going to try this out thank you my dude you helped me beat the game back on ps4 with the frost bleed build
This build is now even more powerful after patch 1.07! ENJOY!!

Very good tutorial. If i decide to switch up my samurai bleed build i will definitely give this a go. You deserve wayy more subs
lets goo, made a comment asking for this build like a day ago. So sick
These kind of long videos would greatly benefit from those little time stamps you can add into the video play bar thing
Your editing gets progressively more detailed. Bravo 👏
Just started the game a week ago, this is by far the best guide build out there.
I created a new character just because I wanted to test faith/str build and im following this guide. Quite helpful so far, thanks!
this was a great video man. Simple edits but you used them perfectly. I really enjoyed it, good job!
Hi, I make this build and I'm enjoying a lot. After defeated Rykard I'm going to make the second part now for the late game.
This is honestly exactly what I needed to get back into this game. I was in a lurch but I feel reinvigorated and excited to play again.
Would love a part 2. Great build and videos.
This is great. Doing a co-op play through where I want to be able to carry the other person easily and this build works perfectly for that. Thanks.
A good talisman for this build would be the assassin crimson dagger because you get 10% of your health back on a critical strike
So radagon's soreseal and assassin crimson dagger? Would it be better with wild strikes on the great stars?
These builds are amazing well thought out I only just finished my pyro build now this one is just what I needed 👍
I Love how you combine build building with some story elements
I played through my first run as a dex dual sword ninja. And it was great. Started my 2nd play through as a pure faith and fell madly in love with the game.
Great guide, great edit! You’ve earned my sub, can’t wait to watch more of these
Another thing, the Grafted Dragon scales with strength and faith, and is great for small fast enemies that are hard to hit with your mace. It’s good to pick up after you defeat Godrick.
I made my guy a monk so this fits well with the roleplay. Thanks!
Like always best explanation builds out their most fun to play, will be interesting to see were this can evolv more 👍🏻
Great videos.
Wow, i likes your samurai, fire mage and now I need this.
Bro please take a break you must get like 2 hours of sleep man you are amazing with your upload schedule 👏👏👏
Easily the most entertaining build video for Elden ring. Fasted sub ever
Best vid yet
You don't have to fight the Crucible Knight. Just lead him to the elevator, when he enters the room go up and he will fall to his death. He doesn't care. He's determined to get you. Just an option, with your new power you might want to show it off.
What a dope build, but you crammed so much info into a short video. I'm sure I'll be watching this repeatedly as I move through the early game. Was going to go winged scythe but this is so much cooler.
Your guide is both useful and fun to watch. Thanks a lot. It made me reroll a character to test it :)
Dude. Thank you. I followed this all the way tonight. It took me 3 hours but I’m hitting like a truck
I'm finding the health regen to be negligible, the Ash too slow to hit anything and I'm getting whomped by groups of 3 or 4 dudes...any tips?
Insanely nice build. FYI you have to 2-hand the weapon until you get to 22 Strength. Not a big deal, but can be a tad irritating.
Amazing guide! i stuck with my astrologer build and gonna start from beginning with this guide.
I love this BUILD SO MASSIVE
This build is a monster, my character heal almost his full hp! Amazing guide dude
Stars is also a great side weapon once you have Blasphemous Blade for certain bosses that resist it, like Mohg.
best confessor build video i have come across - thank you.
Would be good to see your thoughts on late game optimisations for this build. Great video :)
I’ve been thinking about what build to try next and this one won by a landslide 👏👏👏👏
A little disclaimer, which doesn't invalidate the build at all, you're gonna skip a lot of quests going to those areas that early, specially Altus Plateau.
I like the build, will probably try it out when I get to Altus.
@@freedmfe8934 I've seen a few quest guides and they all tell you to hold off going to altus, but sure, there isn't much info about it.
@@freedmfe8934 Yeah there's a lot of confusing info. Do you know of any simple list or guide that actually tells you when you may skip stuff?
Love the route change into Caelid!
I like the way you said, you can just pick up the Vow ashe as if it was just sitting there. Very funny.i had to laugh like hell.
i learned that the hard way lmao
I never got past Rennala in any other saves because I didn't know how to make a good build but I think with this one I might actually beat the game finally
Best creator on RUclips!
Agreed
Agreed
Was looking for a nice faith build. Thanks. This is just wot i want
so is it really good? wanna try faith+str? and i like paladin style
By far my fav build my friend, I thank you and your epic content
Just got Elden Ring since it was on sale, idk what I’d be doing if I didn’t search up videos 😂 I’ve been having a good time with this build!
I really like your editing, super entertaining 😎👌
Finally moved to ps5 for the dlc so gotta make a new dude and going to try this out thank you my dude you helped me beat the game back on ps4 with the frost bleed build
