I’ve bought the exact same spoiler, what modifications did you do to the side plate to attach it to the car
Hi mate, basically used some thin rubber pieces and built them up layer by layer until the side plate attached to the existing stock spoiler. Then drilled those rubber pieces into the existing stock spoiler to secure the side plates. Once I was happy with the fit (bit of trial and error needed) I popped some fibre glass around the rubber connector to get a smooth surface to wrap over. Hope that helps!

Please could you explain in detail how you fitted the spoiler to the Mito? I have a Mito too and have been looking to do this exact same spoiler install, but I'm very confused and unsure how to do it - thanks!

Hi mate, the actual spoiler I brought was just one the usual gloss black ones from eBay, but then I wrapped the entire spoiler (including the sides) in carbon.
Do you think the spoiler Will fit on a normale alfa Romeo mito aswell?
Hi! Yes I think it will since the QV is pretty much identical to the normal Mito from the back.

Thanks mate! It's just a Mercedes A45 spoiler from eBay. Fits surprisingly well as standard, but needs some modifications around the end plates to secure it to the car.

What steering wheel you using? Cant seem to find a mito one?.
Hi mate. I brought this steering wheel a couple of years back from an eBay seller called Speedautot. They did sell a mito steering wheel at the time, but not sure if they discontinued it or not....
@@POVehicle yeah tried having a look and couldn’t see one, but the giulietta one looked similar?! Also what touches did you do to the spoiler?. Sorry lad just love what you did to yours hah
@@pedroalexandre4121 I'm pretty sure the earlier Giulietta's (think pre 2013 ish) have the same steering wheel as the Mito so could be worth looking at!
Thanks mate! Needed to shape the plastic centre pillars to match the contour of the boot and then made some small side connectors out of plastic to attach the endplates to the body (probs not necessary though in hindsight).

Mine has been fine so far! I think because we screw the new spoiler to the existing spoiler (which is attached to the body of car securely) we can get away with it...
Will it fit on Giulietta and how do you think it will look?
Not sure it'll fit on a Giulietta tbh as it might be too narrow...but if you manage to it'll look great imo!

I'm looking to buy a basic universal wing for my Mito, how do i fit it?
I would suggest securing your new wing by screwing / bolting it onto the original boot spoiler. That way it should be secure and you won't have the hassle of adhesive / drilling into actual body work. But sure other options will work well too!

Hi mate, they're just the stock 18 inch Mito QV alloys (part no: 156097893) in black with some carbon wrap on the spokes!

Hi, I have had the car for ~3 years now. The only real issue I have had was the power steering motor needed replacing. Other than that, it's been perfect! These engines are super reliable so nothing really to worry about there either! Great car in my opinion 😀
