That's tough when you only really enjoy two genres. There's so many RPGs with epic stories (Final Fantasy...pick a number, any number, all the numbers!...Zelda, Star Ocean, Kingdom Hearts, Elder Scrolls) Retro/Platform games are always fun (Mario, Mario 3, Super Mario World, Mario Sunshine, New Super Mario Brothers, Metroid, Contra, Sonic, BomberMan, Donkey Kong, Spyro, Kirby, Yoshi, etc.) Puzzle/story games (Kings Quest, Syberia, Myst), RTS games (Age of Empires, Command and Conquer, StarCraft, Civilization series), Farm Sim games are super chill. Dungeon crawlers, racing games...Stinks because I know these don't peak your interest as much as going hand to hand with real players. I hope you find something.
Path of Exile? Payday 2? Counter Strike? There's tons of stuff in other genres that can I think of like: Cities Skylines, Kingdom come, Skyrim, Hearts of Iron, Mount and blade, Civilization series, Super meat Boy and Football manager.
atm waiting for these games Projekt Z: Beyond Order Last Epoch Path of Exile 2 The First Descendant Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Underspace I.G.I. Origins Enshrouded Outpost: Infinity Siege ARC Raiders Quantum Knights Collapsed Galaxy II THRONE AND LIBERTY Avowed
I'm with you 100% on all this. I can't enjoy a game for longer than a couple weeks at this point. I've resorted back mostly to apex/fortnite for fps battle royale fix and rogue company is tons of fun for a while for multiplayer. Very unique gameplay but not much depth. It is free to play though so that's nice. Try it out! Also CONGRATS ON PARTNER!!!!!!
Have to go back. "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring" from 2002 was the quintessential video game. Could play the story over and over. Gameplay was the right amount of interesting and difficult. Heaven knows I don't have the time to play much, but if I did it'd be throwbacks or something simple like minecraft.

As mentioned before, always down to play Halo with you(I don't think creators were getting mistreated, many mentioned are still playing)! Ubisoft's new Xdefiant game looks pretty cool in its closed Beta right now and looks like a worthy CoD arena shooter competitor. Also there are several MMOs that are in various stages of development including Ashes of Creation & Wayfinder that I've been following. Wouldn't dream of telling you what to stream if you are looking for a long term game, but in the short term, it sounds like you just want to enjoy playing games with others. To that I say play what you want, regardless of what you might hear or feel pressured to play. Besides, it's about you and the community you have and are continuing to create, the game is secondary. Much love and prayer for you!
@@ShadelessDen it's iffy when you first start if you've never played as you aren't going to have the nostalgia factor and the beginners grind can make you feel like a slug. Mid to end level is when it starts to pick up vastly. The game has the best devs of any other game I've ever played imo. Constant updates and additions to the game and majority of them are player base voted in. I will take breaks here and there because I always go ham when I play and burn myself out, but I always know I will inevitably be back at some point and when I do come back there's always something new to do
You can also maybe try some moba? Smite, league of legends, heroes of the storm. Beware though. I find the moba community is the most toxic of all genres

If you like to play online with others then the Call of Duty games or Halo is in. But the switch games are hot and in.
Fuz can educate you

Yea, that’s a good idea!
