    I have a gas ram umarex pistol and its a beast in 177.based on that and your review im buying one of these but ill be putting my tried and tested bsa scope on it.i bought a second hand bsa mercury,had it resprung and sealed and that was pretty accurate for a 40+yr old gun.

    Did I hear you right when you said you were only getting about 675 ft per second?

    Based on the performance figures, you seem to be generating 14 foot pounds. That is 2 foot pounds more than the UK limit, and this is a British gun.

    A question I’ve got this gun BSA GRT XL SE and the barrel is only 10” with out the moderator and inside the moderator is larger diameter inside than the barrel
    How is this gun so accurate.

    • @airgundepot
      @airgundepot  5 лет назад +1

      English magic! You don't really need a long barrel for accuracy if the gun is tuned right.

      Airgun Depot took the BSA GRT lighting to the gut club today and I’m amazed. We tested it at 10.2. Set the scope up with in 10 minutes 10mm groupings at 30 metres . Shooting all small targets 40 meters. And best thing of all. It feels like a gun. Sorry but pcp’s not for me. Thanks that 9 3/4 barrel still seems wrong but shoots incredible 1” chalk targets 30 yards. Not just shooting the target s but shooting the pieces left over . Cheers 🍻

      @@davemonday5381 I own one, it's like air arms, we use specialist made tuning springs that are on par with wierauch, bsa and air arms the top tier when it comes to air rifles.
      Try to find spring air rifle better than air arms tx200 or bsa lighting, closest I've seen is wierauchs hw30 or hw77, but they come very close and are cheaper

      I ordered a air arms TX200HC this morning I pick it up tomorrow if I like the stock.
      I agree with you BSA are a British ICON.
      BSA meteor was my first gun when I was 11, 45 years later I’m still buying BSA.

      Cos they are so expensive.i was looking at a second hand one for 200quid and it looked like a battlefield relic.

    Fully shrouded barrel my ass. If you unscrew the end of the barrel and look down the tubing you will see that 4" inches of it is a hollow chamber.
