Left collarbone was broken at the age 22 now my age 27...i got bump on left hand side looking not good compared to rght collarbone...so i need to correct my left hand like rght hand collarbone is it possible doctor
I had a conservative treatment for my shoulder, but now it feels internally rotated and depressed, and really hurts when I try certain exercises. I’m debating whether or not to go for surgery. I feel pain with almost every pushing and pulling movement with pronated grip, especially because the shoulder socket is smaller now. I can still work around it and hit the gym to build muscle, but my pecs have ended up looking uneven.
What kind of complications can I have post op? I was told to keep myself in a sling and no movement. What happens if I have any slight movement while in the sling? Am I at risk for ruining the surgery.? is it normal to still have pain similar to pre op?

My answer: In this PubMed article: "The differential diagnosis of a clavicle fracture includes acromioclavicular joint injury, rib fracture, scapular fracture, shoulder dislocation, rotator cuff injury, and sternoclavicular joint injury." emedicine.medscape.com/article/398799-overview Please also ready this: "Magnetic Resonance Imaging of the Clavicle MRI of the clavicle, while not routinely performed, can be helpful in the evaluation of the osseous structures in the case of clavicular non-union. However, the prominent advantages of MRI relate to visualization of the associated soft tissues while assessing for infection, injury to the adjacent brachial plexus, vascular compression in post-traumatic-induced thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS) and during evaluation of the AC and SC joints. Most recently, there has been investigation in determining patient’s bone age by using MRI to determine the presence of a fully ossified clavicular epiphyseal plate as evidence of completion of the 20th year of life [18]." musculoskeletalkey.com/imaging-of-the-clavicle/
