I remember the first time I heard his voice ( the first Asia album) takes me back all those years , his vocal range was astonishing and from there first album I followed them intensely, his voice could be so haunting, this country infact the world will never see talent like his again, he was truly amazing, you left far to soon rest in peace John 😢

His voice was like a fine wine, it got better and more mature with time.
I saw them in 2007 & 2012, both concert in second row! This video doesn’t do justice at how powerful his voice was in concert. By the way, he sang all of the songs in their original key, and he even went higher on some of the songs to emphasize that particular part. Amazing!

We used to do this in my old band.. I know this is song is extremely difficult to sing. It takes A LOT of lung power and here he is not only singing it but also playing with the melody in ways that improves over the original but makes it that much harder. John Wetton proved himself as one of the greats of all time.

Oh this song makes me cry and get goosebumps EVERY TIME I hear it! The song itself is a masterpiece. Whether it's John W., John P., or Lake singing it, it affects me just the same. Why? Because the song is pure genius! And that there is what makes John Kenneth Wetton, the writer of this piece, so special. He nailed it with this one, in my opinion. I aspire to write like this. He was truly a gift to my music world.

What a great song by a great band with one of the G.O.A.T. vocalists. Regret I never got to see John perform live. A true super group that made musical magic. How many groups came out of the gate and dominated from the start the way Asia did? Too bad they didn't stay together longer.
And to any past or present critic of the band Asia: Sorry they were so far above what you were able to musically comprehend.
I had my tickets to see them the last time they came to town...and John died while I was waiting. Still got to see them, but not the same without John.
