Allie, your podcast also changed so many of my views. You taught me that us conservative women can speak the truth in love without apologizing or pussyfooting around. I have been conservative, but you poked holes in so many of my flimsy squishy “nuanced” views. Things like IVF, abortion abolition (not saying you’re an abolitionist, but you had the abolitionist on that made me one too), trangenderism and it’s evil roots, the list goes on. I’m also a reformed Christian before this podcast and was so delighted when I learned that you are as well! My husband has gotten well used to hearing your voice echoing through our house as I take care of our two babies. We refer to you on a first name basis now, lol. I’m so grateful to this podcast and I sing it’s praises to anyone who will listen. Keep speaking truth!

You help guide me when I didn’t know what steps to take. I grew up in an atheist household and was surrounded by so much sin. You helped guide me through the Bible and I loved your most misused episodes. You changed my mind on abortion, and helped me see so many truths. Allie…I was saved and baptized as a child but was never sanctified…I always believed Jesus died for my sins but never lived a life that was glorifying God until the last few years after i had my children. I started going to church again in the last 6 years, but the last few months my husband and i have committed our lives to God, been baptized again, and started on our road to sanctification (truly this time). your podcast has helped me make up my mind on so many issues like IVF and abortion in cases of rape. God has used you to help me form a biblical world view (still working on it) and sparked an interest in me for apologetics. My husband has heard me listening to you and has now started as well. thank you for all you do. God bless

I'm a long-time listener, starting in 2019 I think, and have barely missed an episode since! Allie is younger than me, around the same age as my sister, but I appreciate her wisdom so much. I've heard certain phrases so often that I can repeat them by heart and it gives me confidence that I can defend my positions. Not sure that my mind was "changed", but I have been better informed on the problems with surrogacy from episodes over the past year or so. I grew up in family where having children was valued, which I'm grateful for, but now I believe that wanting a child doesn't mean it's your right - every child deserves a mom and a dad, but an adult does not deserve to create a child for their own pleasure, status, etc.

Congratulations! My favorite episodes have been IVF with Katie Faust, the psychology ones about ADHD and brain chemical imbalance. It’s also just so pleasant to hear no cussing, exactly the slice of culture and politics with a regular measure of Christianity, scripture, and context included. I have some minor differences - not Calvinist - but overall you have my favorite politics show anywhere. ❤
