FLYLEAF playing together for the first time after 11 years, This is FIRE FIRE, a song they finally performed together with the OG line-up. What makes this song even meaningful is that this song includes the lyrics. "Almost thought we made it home, but we don't know this place at all. That's enough now, dry your tears. It's been a long 11 years.". This is also their first song they played in their reunion set.

Wow... played at a BBQ place... how sad
She worked there in high school. This is their hometown. The locals appreciated it. It was an exclusive show that was word of mouth only- they had to do it that way or the town would’ve been overrun with fans traveling in to see them. It blessed her small hometown, the owners of the bbq restaurant/venue where she worked when she was a kid, and many others. The show was top tier. If you weren’t there you missed out. This was much more intimate and meaningful than something like Sick New World.

@@tyef572 the band just got back together and they are doing a few select major festivals this year and next year. This was just a family reunion of sorts 🥰 they were one of the first bands announced for Sick New World and Blue Ridge Rock Festival as well as a few others across the US this May-September. No official announcement as to whether there will be new music coming but I know Lacey had some solo stuff in the works right before they announced her reunion with the band and I believe the band is self-labeled now and will have more control over music rights sooo I’d guess there’s a good chance.
