Ireland is a breathtaking country, definitely my top choice to visit or reside in. However, the housing situation is a concern.
Thank you so much for a very positive video.
Firstly as someone who called Galway home for a decade, it was very heart warming to see the familiar streets of that fabulous city.
I recently moved to Canada, after 25 years living in Ireland, and your positive energy about the country I love has been much welcome after seeing loads of depressing nonsense popping up on social media.
I am thrilled that you have the same enthusiasm and love of Ireland, and am glad that a person like yourself feels so happy to call it home. Hope you have a very happy birthday, and may you have a bright and happy time in Ireland in the future.
Happy Birthday!!! 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you :)
Happy Birthday. What a great city to celebrate your special day.. 🎂
Thank you :)
Absolutely correct about the weather, I’d doesn’t rain every day, some days we have showers or precipitation.
😆 Underrated comment there Tony!

It's been a few days, but happy birthday!
I enjoyed this video.Thank you.
Thanks brother.. nicely yo explain.. 🙏
Thank you for watching! :)
7:32 were not a fan of our neighbours and on another note
Kayaking is massive here to
Haven't done it years but theres some amazing lakes and rivers to try
Some of the rapids ect would really only be for the more experienced
But the lakes are my favourite you get such a different view of the scenery
Even if it's freezing and pissing rain
Usually I prefer human eye views for reviews and vlogs, but man.. these are some really good drone shots... !
Thank you!
Happy birthday 🎁
Finding accommodation in Dublin and outside Dublin is not only expensive but it is also an absolute nightmare due to people queuing to view properties! I live and work there with my husband but had to get out.
I can only imagine the situation there!
I think you could get to Bundoran easy enough from there. Great town, nice beaches and walking paths. I always head over there when visiting in laws in the north (coming from US) 👍 also if you're near Derry, The Thirsty Goat has the best food anywhere
Happy Birthday 🥳🥳
Thank you :)
Hi thanks for the video. I would really appreciate a video exploring the beaches of Connemara.❤
Noted!
@@Corrky May I recommend waiting for closer to spring, although the gentle sea breezes can be quite bracing at this time of year?
I know for sure it won’t be until February, that’s all I can promise.
Please cover Ballina. You can also feature musician/you tuber Garron!
Look forward to your videos on Gaza.
Why on Earth do you think I will do a video on Gaza?
Look the vid bro. Galway looks great, hey give Limerick city a visit and go see King John's castle it's class.
Sleep in your car. You have a car, right?
I'm trying to go here from the USA I don't fit in around here. I also have something to give the people when I get there
You're in Galway!!! That's where I grew up!
We are indeed :)
If paying 3X - 4X normal rent to live in a tiny room within a house where every room is rented out is your thing, by all means consider Ireland.
How about the Aran Islands?
3:04 Imagine being a bus driver and you see a random guy walking on the street with a selfie stick, blocking your way and oblivious of it. 😂
Yeah we are actually lucky we don’t have extreme weather!
It’s -38C currently where I live in Canada 🥶. My girlfriend and I want to move to Europe and have our sights set on Ireland. Thank you for the video!
Uh yeah it’s cold in Alberta right now, I just ran stairs outside at 2am, definitely frigid. Tomorrow I’ll go up a mountain…. But why do you think anyone in the world cares that we’re having a cold week?
@@datacipherjust confirming that the weather in Ireland could in fact be much worse
Hey!! I've been there!!😅
I will be back in April or May but I'm sure you'll be on holiday on Jupiter or something.
😂😂😂
We will be here in April and May :)
How much would i have to pay health insurance top up as OAP retiring jn Ireland coming from the UK?
Otherwise i might move to NI and go for regualt travel to IRL😅
Next trip in scotland 😊 and ireland vs scotland wich country is best quality of life ?😁
I would love to do that. We’ve been talking about Scotland recently to be honest :)
I’m moving to Ireland in 2025. I realize it’s more expensive in Ireland than other parts of Europe. I am moving to most likely Donegal, Ulster, Cork or Galway. Can I live in those cities comfortably? What is the job market like?
You can live in any city in Ireland comfortably as long as you work and do you part. Biggest problem currently is not finding a job, it is finding accommodation. Jobs are easy.
Like what's the price for one single room in a shared apartment at Dublin ?@@Corrky
@@seokthapa2723 no reply coz the guy is bs.
Housing crises, high cost of living is making things frustrating now in ireland
I live in Finland so yeah it could be a lot worse
🥰 How delightful! Does the weather have a negative impact on people there? I personally love a grey day. I feel motivated and energetic, the sun drains me. 🤷🏼♀️🙈🤣
On Yeah, Winter can be really hard since its long and dark and temperature can reach -20 in January and February where I live@@curlyginger215
O, Man! Finland has a very harsh climate, but it's also located in such a dangerous region
I have a question. I am moving in Ireland Dublin or Galway after couple of months with my girlfriend. We are moving from another EU country. I am a dental technician, she is a dentist. We already had couple of interviews and did our research, but what so you think about the job market in that area and also is it not super hard to find lets say rent 2 bedroom appartment for around 2k-2.2k Eur per month?
Firstly we wanted to move to Galway, but seeing how few rents they got in daft we probably are going for Dublin.
Honestly, job should be easy for both of you considering what you do. Both Galway and Dublin.
Accommodation could be problem, there’s no point in lying about it. In Galway you can get it for that money for sure, that should be more than enough. And for Dublin I really don’t know. I have no idea what situation is like there and what the costs are.
@@Corrky the rent cost itself I big I know, but the bigger problem for me is if I could actually find a place. I checked the rents and for similar places its the same price for Dublin and Galway, but in Dublin you could find a newer place. How is the city transportation system in Galway?
he he he ..rather you than me pal.
Can I work in Belfast with an eu passport or I need a visa ? I know Belfast is under the UK but still it’s called Northern Ireland, so want to be sure:)
I believe you need a visa since it’s not EU but I don’t know exact rules for UK.
I want to study in RCSI university to study undergraduate medicine, do you think I will be able to find a job after graduating?
Yes easily. Not enough doctors in ireland. The vast majority are retiring
Do you feel safe there
Absolutely.
best areas to live in & around and in Dublin?
I really can’t say as we only lived in Galway. Sorry.
7:30 This river flows insanely fast, like in high mountains.
Corrib is 2nd fastest river in Europe according to Google.
How about violence, or stray dogs.. Is it safe to walk alone through the streets or fields in Ireland? Thank you🙏🏻
ohh yes.. I am from Romania and in Ireland there are no stray dogs , violence only saturday night in Temple Bar after several beers :)). I lived in Dublin for 5 years and every saturday after 2''30 am I was having lunch and watch the mma fight outside :)))
You can just walk through fields, most land is private property.
Don’t walk through fields, Ireland is a huge beef producing country and cattle are dangerous.
where's that place at the beginning?
Do you mean drone shots?
First shot is Renmore, Galway.
Next 2 are Athlone.
@@Corrky Tnx! And thanks for the video, probably wont find any SoftwareEngineering job there xD
So , where are you now bro? Gone back home to zululand huh?
Cork city
Noted :)
Actually, Ireland is a part of EU. Northern Ireland isn't, it's part of GB
Ah thanks
Yea... and the dude says hes in Ireland 5 years.
"Go to a pub and meet someone with a pint of Guinness"
Actually, Northern Ireland is not a part of Great Britain. G.B. is the island comprising England, Scotland and Wales. Northern Ireland is however part of the U.K.
That's the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to give it it's full official title at present. It's a bit confusing because sometimes people wrongly think that Britain and UK means the same thing.
I hope this helps.
Riobeard
wow
I live in the fucking estate he started the video in
26+6=1
I hope I get to visit Ireland one day before they are fully invaded.
I hope you educate yourself at least a little bit.
He's definitely taking all his blue pills. If you drop one more red pill, he might faint, explode or start using familiar weaponized words against you like "waycist" "xenophobic" "far right" and the old fave, "fascist" or even - if he loses it - he'll use the n word. Zelenskyy (sorry, I should have used his proper prefixes of Saint and Hero) laughed his actor's laugh at the suggestion of N's in his country but we know better. We know that the US, UK and many tax payers of many western countries were duped when their cash and weapons were sent to be used by probably the largest concentration of n @ t z ee s in zee world.
@@Corrky Oh the irony 🙉🙈🙊.
I live in Ireland. The weather is a "big natural disaster! What do you mean no big natural disasters? 🤣
Hello are you an irish in ireland?
Croatian.
Nr.1 - don't
Ireland has had enough, stay where ye are, we're sick of it
Go home! We're even more full than a year ago!
Declined.
Feck off you stupid ignoramus!
Ireland is not, remotely, full.
IF your racist wish did come true, our economy, particularly our health and hospitality sectors, would collapse.
Say no to unvetted illegals. I'm happy to have a friendly, appreciative and hardworking guy like this come to MY country
I have some advice ... Don't come here
Why?

Not the brightest bulb in the chandelier, are you?

What is the lowest English level you need to know to work in retail?
I would say you need to be able to have a proper conversation with people.
@@Corrky thank you very much my friend
