The fact that you started already with the confetti quote/parallel is an attemp against my life, both scenes broke me in the show and seing them actually edited togethr by you. I am deceased.
The forever house part followed by "dead doesn't mean gone" + "there's no without", actual ART! it's so sad that the forever house was supposed to be a good thing and then it just became something creepy, like a trap but it also means the ones that leave are always there, damn! it's so bittersweet.
I'm so in love with the way you used the show's amazing clips and how you intertwined the "strangest drem" parallel, it feels so natural and it isn't just one quote followed by each other, the way you mixed them is perfect and I love that is right before the song picks up.

My take away from the “confetti” scene was The Block Universe Theory. The theory that suggests all of time past, present, and future is happening all at once with infinite number of outcomes. When Nell says “you did, so many times... it wouldn’t have made a difference” suggests that we all have a destiny. When she also says “ I used to think time was like dominos, but I was wrong, time falls all around us like rain”
I think I can say this for everyone out here - Dani, Nelli and Hannah deserved so much more. More than the world could give. In my head Hannah and Owen did confess their unspoken feelings out loud and they did go to Paris and ate lots of croissants and oh the life they had! Just how Owen wished they did.
When the "I'm having the strangest of dreams" came in bly manor I knew it was a referance from hill house.
"Nobody could see me." It's like having my heart heartbroken all over again. Such a great capture of those moments, the parallels. Gosh. This is incredible. Thank you so much. Truly, thank you.

ok , first the paralels and everything sheff kiss. tbh i knew there were some paralels between the two shows but i didnt know it was that many and i just love this so much, like i really didnt like bly as much as hill house and this kinda made me like the season a little bit more.
when I saw Hill House I remember being shocked at the feeling I got from it, something so different from other shows it touched me so much and now with Bly Manor it was not the same but very alike, I didn't even knew why because they're so different .. tbh I never noticed all those little parallels now seeing this it all makes sense? this video is beautiful like all your works

Hill House is one of my favorite shows of all time, absolutely stunning and breathtaking! Loved Bly and I love how you put in all of the parallels in speech, images and people. This was perfect and I'm a mess again.

There's a scene in the haunting of hill house where Olivia sits on her husband at night, about to kill him. The same happens in the haunting of Bly manor, where Dani sits on her girlfriend at night, about to kill her. Much love to both the series. And absolutely loved your idea.
This is SO beautifully done. I love parallels in general but especially in Hill House/Bly.
The part where Olivia and Peter both say "ever again" gives me chills every time and I've watched this about five times already.
The song is "They Move on the Tracks of Never Ending Light" by "This Will Destroy You" if anyone was wondering, and it's a beautiful song and a wonderful selection for this video.

i love the way there are references to the book and to the movie and now theres the two shows and they do references of each other and parallels and the beautiful unique work of shirley jackson became a new universe togueter with marvel and harry potter and stuff but now it is ''the haunting'' and its just so deeply beautiful

1:25 this is perfection.
Another parallel I found is when nell says the confetti part the song that's played is "the end" in the hill house score, and in bly manor when Hannah says the confetti parallel the song "love story" in the bly manor score is playing. If you listen to both songs "the end" is in the song "love story". And they're both the last songs on the scores

Wow. I was just browsing along minding my own business and this was recommended for me so I clicked it, watched it, and now there are tears. But I lost it (like literally full on sobbing mess) when that Nellie/Hannah parallel scenes comes up. These two are my fav characters and they're just so precious to me. What happened to them was tragic and so heartbreaking to me, sigh. This fanvid is pure art. I'm so glad this was on my recommended videos :')

What is beautiful is..jamie made sure flora remembered dani forever by telling dani's story on her wedding..on her special day..she didn't give her the whole truth..because she jamie didn't want flora to relive that nightmare..but made sure dani and their love story became immortal..
