I adore the song and the movie because it reminds me of the father I lost 33 years ago. The actors in the movie were perfect for the roles they played and the words to the song are fantastic and ideal also.
I lost my dad around the time this movie came out and nearly cried at the end when the father, son and grandson all hugged each other....back then I really missed my dad....20 years on I am now a father and now when I watch that same end scene all I can think about is how happy I will be to play baseball with my son and grandson some time in the future...funny how ones perspective changes with time..time helps heal...xx
