brings back memories of years ago with me getting transferred to NYC for a new job from a small upstate city in the mod 80's and commuting into Penn from NJ. Great memories. Some of the later trains back home in the evening from Manhattan ranged from interesting to concerning to scary and at many times downright hilarious
When I was a kid living on the Jersey Shore we would ride the now North Jersey Coast line (The New York and Long Branch RR). Going south (Belmar to Manasquan) we would buy a ticket but do our best to avoid having it punched and would reuse it another day. It was fun taking the train from Belmar to Penn Station for the day. I was up on Long Island for a trade show last week, so glad I live in semi-rural NE PA. Enjoy your trip Dan. I have a few books by Tony Robbins, those about personal finance are good solid financial advice.
@@thomaschew2191 These ticket guys on Long Island railroad watch you like a hawk, no saving a ticket here, especially going all the way to Penn station. You may be able to make it 1 stop like the guy did on my train but that's it.. Yeah, the urban city area is the worst for driving. I drive to Florida, the part by Belt Parkway, Staten Island is the hardest part of the whole drive.
@@NewYorkDan To get from Phillipsburg, NJ to Long Island involves going over the George and taking the Cross Bronx to the Throgs Neck the whole trip actually sucks. I have family that live in the Bronx and love it, something I will never understand. Take care my brother.
Someone said in the comments of Darlings' most recent video that T-bucket and her blue Honda were spotting in some reflection in Dims Christmas lights video.
loving the back comments like Timmy. He has back issues after riding in the 250 for a cpl weeks. can't wait to watch the videos coming up crying about the back problems after riding his buckboard across country. HaaaaHaaaa
I’m so sorry, but I’m cracking up 😂. I don’t know if you turned up the ‘whine’ as satire or reality or as a parody of ST, also your detail in a world I’m not familiar is great!
Why would you let your girlfriend or most women tell you how to pack? Women tend to overpack. Also, Why don't you have a backpack. Yes, you wear a back brace. Putting a light wt hiking style backpack on is easier on the body/back than trying to carry a heavier than necessary suitcase on one side. Plus you might actually gain some core strength. BTW: laundry mats available all over & if not hand washing does in a pinch, (quick dry tees, pants & gitch for the win).
@@Marigold-m2 All good points👍 Next time I'll try the smaller luggage and bring a backpack. My problem was procrastinating until the last minute, had to throw stuff in and not plan out what clothes I actually would need..
thanks for bringing us along. good video. looking forward to more.
This is Full HD 1080p check settings wheel, set advanced setup to see in full HD, uses more data however if you don't have unlimited..👌
Have a great trip! Great video!
@@doncegas9687 thanks, you'll get to see the whole thing, have premium satellite Internet from the ship, will be posting😉

TIMAAAA is packing for Laughlin. Is Dan going too?
I assume Tammy is driving her new Honda now that her lease is up on the old car. Tim is back to driving his new Ford F-250 gas guzzler around town.
@@MoneySavingVideos Tim said the Ford drives so well that he may not even need the Honda anymore 😉 just a coincidence that Miss Ts lease is up..

@SuperLovedave That explains big shot Tim affording all these vehicles 🤠💵💵💵
Having flashbacks of LIRR commuting 😊 really need more elevators! At least penn has escalators. Have a great trip!
Great video but omg train nightmare
