Very specific question I know, but I’ve been working the ankle lock lately and leglocks in general, and I’ve been having problems getting the ankle over wrapped after I sweep them from single leg x. I know I can and have had success scooting under from there, exposing the heel and heel hooking them, but would like to switch from single leg x to butterfly ashi and go for the ankle lock that way after first entering in to single leg x. Again, having difficulty in overwrapping ( getting the ankle lock grip) after breaking opponent to a hip from single leg x. Hopefully that makes sense. Thanks for your time and expertise. You’re greattt!!!
Hey Jon, I think I figured out why your back hurts, LOL! Man, I can’t bend like that at my age anymore. If I even try to stretch like that, I get locked up in a ridiculous muscle spasm
Awesome! Really enjoyed the sparring clips in the end of the technique in action!
I am enjoying making those want to start adding more captions and graphics to then soon to highlight points.
Levi Jones vs Mateus Lutes Spider Invitational. Awesome sequence!

The omoplata counter is legit so impressive.
Yeah it’s such a useful defense and immediately puts you on offense.
Hey, Will was my student back in Alabama years ago! Great guy!
Please do a collar-sleeve guard video when the opponent is heavy and try to pass on its knees.
Hey buddy I just did one it’s called how to submit a strong stalling opponent.

just wow, thank you guys 🤙
Love it!! 😍💯💯💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Amazing!
Thanks a lot!!
Thanks for sharing Jon! Have you tested this style of crab ride entry as a defense to the matrix?
So as the omoplata player, how would you look to deny this entry? Control the near leg to keep their knee outside yours?
Maybe invert the omoplata leg back inside and go into the matrix?
Do you have any videos on s mount

Wow, this is beyond my level currently, but it sure is impressive nonetheless
