Very interesting that FSD is so successful and common that we spend more time worrying about the driver’s attention than we do on how the car performs. Love it!
@@patricaomas8750 , About nag: just rest your hand on the bottom of the steering wheel with downward pressure until car is actually turning the wheel, then lift hand. I have found this will eliminate nag and the hands need to be somewhere anyway. FSD seems to need reassurance that it is taking the correct action. Having hands on the wheel provides this valuable feedback. Not too much to ask of the supervisor. My observation: Tesla is spending time in allowing drivers to remove their hands from the steering wheel rather than fixing the short comings in the actual FSD functions.
Other FSD reviews show that that the very latest software still often fails to slow down for speed bumps. Pretty much inexcusable, at this late stage of the game.
Will be getting a Plaid soon but not getting the FSD. Great to see that it is advancing quite well. 12.5 has been getting mixed reviews though. Your video shows it being the smoothest compared to others.
From what I've seen v12.5 has been extremely well received based on videos. Plus I have been using FSD since 10/2021 and got v12.5 two days ago. Significant improvement and disengagements are rare. Love it.
It is really a pity that FSD is not yet good enough to be allowed in Europe. One reason could be that signs/position of traffic lights, road markings are not exactly identical in all European countries and therefore the market for Teslas not big enough that it would be worthwhile programming the FSD so that it would fit and work in all or most European countries.
FSD is not good enough for America either. That is why FSD requires *100* *percent* human supervision, for every second on the road. FSD cannot be trusted.
I had someone in their early 70s give me a 15 mile lift and I was uneasy the whole way and will not be asking for more lifts from that person.. This FSD drive looked 10X more competent!
The cadence of eye monitoring checking and restarting after it’s detected sunglasses and turned itself off is like 30 to 60 seconds. Your glasses on off tests were too fast for it. When it’s running the cadence is much faster. It detects look away (while moving) within seconds.
Every time i see an update i just do not understand how wall street & big analysts cannot see into the near future with this shit... cars are quite literally driving themselves now. You can update your car and have new functions and higher safety on the road. This is the only direction tech and the future is going in... why short it. Makes zero sense.

Your worrying about his attention because FSD isn't full self driving it's supervised FSD as Tesla tells you, which isn't FSD.

Great job, keep the videos coming!
Just got the 12.5.1.1 update
Green Dot next to FSD is indicative of active monitoring by inside camera , they just make it more obvious this time 😅
I don't like the messages about active monitoring...its like in your face lol

Thanks. Just commenting to help channel. I really value your view of FSD and the way you set up your vids. Good work. Already a subscriber
Can you do another route where there are speed bumps, to see if it slows down or goes right through it. Looking forward to more FSD content thanks!

Uploading my second video on this shortly

You ll definitely enjoy the Plaid
Seriously ? From most reviews 12.5 has been very well received. Not sure where you saw bad feedback. Maybe I missed something?
@@Frenchy78180 ITs by far the best FSD version to date

Attention monitoring means no need to touch the yoke for nag. Dosent work with sunglasses for now

Looks can be deceiving. FSD is not Self Driving that can be trusted. It must be *100* *percent* supervised by a human at all times.

Agreed 👍
Crossing the solid line was forced by heavy traffic and the road design. Human would have done the same.
Agreed
