Pet shop Boys headlined the Radio 2 Party in the Park at Preston on Sunday, The crowd battled on despite non stop rain all day, and Moor Park turning into a Mud Bath.

An apparently common misconception is that the song was written by Willie Nelson, whose 1982 recording was the biggest US hit version of the song. It was actually written by the little-known team of Johnny Christopher, Mark James and Carson Thompson, originally for Brenda Lee.

An amazing show by PSB for Radio2. I notice the full show is currently on iplayer, saying expires in 11months! hopefully if people watch it, they'll extend that. I've only seen them live once in 2001, how many times have you seen them live?

3 times now, best was Glastonbury as a full show, but the show on Sunday was great as well
