- In year 2022, After almost a decade, Cartoon network india has taken the initiative to bring Anime Shows in India. They are begining by releasing DRAGON BALL SUPER as their first grand anime in Indian Television via their channel. This video will talk about why and how this big step is taken by Cartoon network India almost after a decade.

You know the best thing about this is all the voice actor's are same, the one's who voiced DBZ which just organically augments our nostalgia. The crux of the matter is Digimon, my issue is whether they are also bringing the old voices into it or not, when it cam in 2003 on CN India it was a huge hit and even beat pokemon. With Saumya Daan voicing Joe Kido and shanoor Mirza voicing my childhood hero Taichi. Man I would be so happy if they could bring the old cast into this

DBS has a polished look to it which will naturally draw children plus the comedic element is huge in it as compared to the rough and dreary story and animation of DBZ, which might have repelled outlr young generation kids raised on the staple of Motu Patlu and Chota bheem

I have another viewpoint, let CN India start broadcasting anime on their websites or their own OTT platform on subscription basis. We young adults can make it a success, because I'm a bit doubtful about today's generation making animes a success in TV, but let's hope for the best.

I can't even fathom the immense ecstasy I am feeling, after so so so many years of Indian anime youtubers making click bait title about Anime coming to India, it's finally happening. Initially I was left forlorn when the Power puff girls anime was not released but Teen Titans bolstered my dying hope, and Now I can say with certainty that Dragon Ball super will be an indescribably giant hit on Cartoon network India. Takes me back to my childhood days, when the rivalry of Goku and Frieza was considered the biggest deal , who can forget the moment when Frieza was slashed into 2 pieces by Goku accidentally, or when he was cut into 2 pieces by Trunks about whom every kid in India was talking back then. The pinnacle was the battle between Gohan and Cell, man can't believe we are being taken back to our childhood again by Cartoon network and the man most Reponsible for this miracle is Ankur Javeri sir, our beloved Robin and Goku. Thank you sir, thank you so muc🌹🌹🌹

Anime has been one of the best things in an anime lover's life . Even me , who just started watching anime in july 2021 , It has become a everyday thing to watch anime daily. But I started watching dragon ball when I was in 8th and didn't even know what anime was or DB is an anime . So yeah this is a huge leap in indian anime community and I hope , that after DBS success , even more channels will start airing anime

As an anime fan, I'm very thankful to Ankur sir and CN. I hope this would change the whole scenario of Anime in India. This is true that if this move gets failed, we won't be seeing any anime on television in the future so I hope this move becomes a massive success here. But as an anime fan, if I say it genuinely this move will be nothing but a disaster. See, I've been watching anime since my childhood but when they stopped airing it on tv, I started watching them online (nowadays on Netflix and other apps). The thing is that this time when I've started watching them online grows a habit inside me that now I can't watch any anime without the Japanese voice so there is not a single question for me watching them dubbed. The same case is for many of my friends , they watch anime with English sub so I thing this Hindi dubbed marked is already 'DEAD' because of the gap that weve suffered without the anime in our younger days. So I dont think our generation will watch it on TV. Furthermore children of this generation are more inclined towards 'Motu Patlu' like shows so they'll definitely not going to watch. The thing is we started watching anime cos CN was a dominating channel at that time but now I don't think parents are going to even include CN in their cable packs

DBS can be a revolution for Indian anime we have to support it then we can get more anime like Naruto, one piece, attack on Titan, bleach
The arrival of Naruto is extremely important fir India,it's probably the most popular anime in this country. According to a source, more than 200 episodes of Naruto were dubbed in Hindi but only 98 were shown till 2009 which is telling, Hope CN India doesn't redub Naruto and use the same classical voice by Urvi Ashar
