    Graduating this year and watching this video invokes so much nostalgia. Good tips and as a fresh "aboout to be" passout, I would highly recommend you to explore Manipal. Build your own identity, groom your personality and above all remember to have fun. There will be lots of ups and downs, but after 4 years that all will become a memory you will cherish. Great Video and FC-2 will always remain special to me xD

      EEE is an old branch. CPS just came this year. So no one can be sure of how the branch would be. But it comes under Electrical department as well. Just do some research on the branch. But ig EEE would be the better choice as it's syllabus has been tried and tested and CPS would be experimental.

      Easy or tough totally depends on how u manage your studies, especially in mit..

    • @sriyansketavarapu1575
      @sriyansketavarapu1575  2 года назад

      Hey, toughness depends on how u plan ur schedules. The studies are not very hectic. If u can get a cgpa of 9 and above (could be lower too. But I'm telling u the safer option, these numbers are accd to what I think so please do not take them literally), you should be safe for a branch upgrade. But if u are not very good at academics, then it will be risky to depend on the upgrade.

    • @sriyansketavarapu1575
      @sriyansketavarapu1575  2 года назад +3

      As you mentioned, the course on cyber-physical systems is new. If I'm not mistaken, it came this year, so I don't think anybody can tell how the course is.
      And the talks about drug usage have always been there about Manipal. I've seen people who had the habit of drinking before coming to college, people who got addicted to drugs and alcohol after coming and some who never got involved in any of those. Personally, I don't drink or smoke or do drugs. I've been asked to drink and smoke before. And I refused, I was never forced into anything. Due to several pubs around, it's easier to get such stuff but it's completely your decision if you want to do it or not.
      All the best to your son.

      I've heard Data Science course has been structured very well. I don't have much info on how the teaching is. Data Science is a very specialised branch. I would recommend u take generalised branches like CS if u get instead of data science for undergrad. But then if u don't have better choices or you're interested in the field. Then take it by all means. It will be worth it.
