It’s a big rollercoaster of emotions on how Ever After High came to be! Mattel introduced fairy tales and legends in a very clever and creative way as well as Monsters from Monster High! It was very disappointing to see the signs that both lines are slowly ending with the budgets cuts and less details in their reboots. Not to mention that the crossover between Monster High meets Ever After High could’ve been a big , historical oppurtunity to see how monsters and fairy tales interact each other!!
Thanx for taking the time to revisit the history of this beautiful doll line!

Jay Blue the crossover would have been a totally iconic moment! It’s a bummer we never fully experienced what it could have been. :( Yes...even editing this footage gave loads of nostalgia! We loved having the discussion. 😊 Thanks so much for watching and the sweet comment!

It’s just sad that both of my one time favorite doll lines are dead. Revisiting EAH brings back good memories. Although don’t have too many besides the signatures, I wish would gave bought more at the time. Thanks for sharing your views. It was good to see all three of you together again!

It’s a bummer for sure, the brand had / has so much potential. But many other brands had dramatic comebacks, maybe someday Ever After High will too. It was great looking back and editing this footage / conversation, so many great memories and it gave me nostalgic warm fuzzies. Thanks for watching my friend! ❤️

Very interesting video! Thank you for going into all the details of how the brand changed overtime. I didn’t realize that the reboot for MH & EAH came in the same year that Mattel lost the Disney licence & had no idea there was pressure from Walmart. Definitely explains the direction they were headed with both brands.
It’s amazing how many other collectors have all said (including myself) what you all said, that you got into collecting dolls because of EAH. Just goes to show how good of a brand EAH was if it could attract non doll collectors. Also, if Disney is copying you (*Descendants*) then you know you are doing it right 😉👍🏼
Ever After High was such a unique concept & the potential in it was actually limitless. I do hope they bring it back, even if it’s solely as a collector’s line and only have a few releases a year.

xoxoBabyGirl44 agree with everything you said! 💕 There really were so many factors in the rise and fall of the brand, and who knows, maybe someday they’ll return to us! It truly was something magical, given that none of us were even interested in dolls at the time. Thanks for watching and for the lovely comment! ❤️

This video made me so happy but so sad at the same time! Ever After High was a beautiful brand. Like you guys, it was a lot of what drew me into dolls. Part of me still can’t believe it’s gone. I honestly hope it comes back someday, even though it got a bit sour in its final days. Great video guys! Oh and hello Autumn!

@@ToyChat I really hope so. It's sad seeing a stunning toy-line leave us. I wouldn't even care if they came back more expensive as long as they weren't too expensive.

Hi, dear Max! It had been wonderful to watch you again with Sang and Autumn in a video, like old times. Dear Autumn, we miss you!
I adore to begin this new year by remember a brand so important for me, like Ever After High. Ever After High dolls were designed with an awasome potential and a great concept. They also owned fantastic characters, whitch grew alongside our beloved Monster High ghouls. I really hope that it isn't going to be the end of Ever After High... because this event would be too sad for lots of collectors (including myself).
Thanks so much for allowing us to take this wonderful trip down memory lane. See you soon!

Do u have all of the ever after high dolls? I have 15 signatures and want 16 dolls to complete my collection. 13 signatures and Mira courtly and crystal. They don't have anymore at Mattel website. They have varying prices on Walmart ebay Amazon and other websites and it royally bums me out.

Honestly was not a big fan of Monster High. I thought the quality was always meh. Ever After High I liked though.
I realize that Descendants is Disney but the quality of the dolls are horrible. Hasbro needs to stick to Pony’s because their dolls are horrible. I also feel like the show had a better plot and got the (same) message out better.
The Wonderland line I think killed the line. Those outfits were so ugly. Everything after that though was a lot cheaper.

It’s true in many ways Ever After High and Monster High were actually quite different. And yes the quality of Descendants dolls are questionable and mixed for sure. The Hasbro Disney Princess dolls didn’t do much for us either. It seems mainly only the Disney Store itself that can do their characters proper justice.
