i love your tutorial videos because you give multiple methods! most videos give you the one they prefer and stretch it to the 10 minute mark, but your videos are densely packed with information which i appreciate greatly :)

I like that the title says „drawing heads *for animation“* because there are many different ways to approach drawings, none of which are „wrong“, but each one is better suitable for different goals/styles etc.
For example, in animation you need to draw the same thing over and over from different perspectives comparatively quickly whereas a portrait focuses on accuracy and details and it is not really important to be able to rotate the head
I think more tutorial titles should specify for what technique they are for :)
Edit: finished watching the video and he also kinda mentions this in the video ^^. I really like this specification since it makes the variety of art content less confusing for beginner artists, I think 😊.

Your videos are so good! I think you provide helpful advices in a simple and effective way.
For example, having learned to draw without lessons, I'd never really understood the point of looking into the loomis method once you're not a begginer anymore.
Yet I so often struggle to find the right proportions for faces and spend a lot of time changing the position and size of elements to make them look better.
Now, thanks to you, I clearly understand what I could gain from studying face construction with loomis

Nice video! Anyway, is it better to have reference from real head photos or from a drawing for beginner?
