- We’re installing new bumper lights that replace the reflectors on the Accord rear bumper. These lights tap into the stock brake light harness and can be installed with basic hand tools.

Awesome mod. Quick question though. For the portion that you covered with a white wrap. Did you have to remove any lights for the delete? I don't know for sure if those light up. Thanks.
Nice tutorial man. Thanks for the guide. I just wanna give you a heads up for next time. If you can please just put the tail light on a table, or on the ground with a towel underneath. Because I did the same thing with my headlights and ended up scratching them. It’s not worth the risk by hanging them like that.

I did notice a difference in the lock/unlock sequential light display. I like yours better. Maybe different manufacturer have different ways. Thanks again.
There new ones that is the entire brake lamp sequential. 2018+. $200 a set on Amazon. Check those out! ENTIRE lamp sequential

Thanks for the great video! Would be interesting to see how putting amber rear turn signal LED bulbs would work with this kit since they wouldn't have that fade in and out that incandescents have. Might blend better, or maybe worse!

Thanks, just did this. Scratched the paint a bit seems like pulling the tail light off. No biggie, I have touch up paint for that. Worth doing this small mod as it even looks oem in my opinion. Should be a factory option or something.
Where did u get that trunk spoiler? Looks like its blended in ur car. Did u put a lip kit? Looks different.
It’s a duckbill spoiler. And the kit is akasaka. Go back and check out my previous videos. I have links and install instruction for everything on my car. 🤙🏽

Yes, thank you for going through all this. Man...if I'd known how complicated these cars were to work on I might not have bought one. I've done a lot of my own mods on a bunch of vehicles, but this level of nonsense just to replace simple parts is way more than I'm willing to go through myself. So damn complicated and tricky, so many delicate and easily broken parts...ugh! Makes me miss my Jeeps and my FJ Cruiser, which were really easy to work on...

Hey thanks for this video! I put mine in today I had issues pulling the bumper of because I was nervous and wanted to be gentle until I finally gave it a GOOD yank and it popped right off lmao I think the hardest part of the whole job was putting those damn taillight bolt covers back on

😂 I have since remedied that! I have a gimble for the phone, tri pod to support both phone and DSLR so if I do need to go one handed I’ll have a steady shot for you guys.

Great volg as always where did you get the side pieces on your front bumper I do not see your installation video on that maybe I missed it. they look like maybe they're off the Civic type R I don't know Honda you can make it for the 17 and down on the 2017 Honda Accord. Honda hfp ground effects it looks just like that but Honda says they do not sell that
It’s the Akasaka lip kit. You can find it in k’s playground, eBay or amazon. $200 gets you the side pieces and the lip. I wrapped my lip in carbon fiber/epoxy.

My reflector came out when I went over a curb on a tight turn. Any idea about what kind of replacement screws I can get for it?
Hope you put some sort of padding on the bench preferably a microfiber towel to reduce risk of scratching the painted surface of the bumper cap.

In all honesty you're not using the right tool That's why such a struggle The weather may have something to do with it but if you're not even the correct tool then you can't blame it on any other elements

Do you know if those are LED? wondering how long they might last before they burn out, cause I’m assuming the bulbs are integral to the assembly and the complete sequential light unit will have to be replaced.

Hey I just got a quick question I just installed these the other night except I bought it off of another eBay seller and the led tail lights has a slight gap. Do you think this would be a problem since rainwater can get inside and potentially mess of my led lights and my backup sensors?
I don’t think it will mess up the sensor but I’d definitely get with the seller and see if they can send you another set.
I did mine by just removing the exhaust tips. Excellent job and looks great.

Were you able to get the low tire pressure sensor to shut off with the new 20s? Mine says low all the time.

Just installed these yesterday on my wife’s 2018 Accord Sport. I didn’t need a pic tool to remove it off the car. Once you remove the 3 philips head screws in the rear wheel well I just slowly pulled off the bumper till each clip released.

You still run these? I just installed them over the weekend and when I went to start up car wouldn't crank at all. Threw a ton of errors and really bugged me out. Removed the lights and still nothing. Turned out to be a blown brake light fuse, but was really worried. Any chance you've heard this happening before? You didn't happen to swap to a higher rated fuse did you?
Hey man - No issues here. Still running my original set. Did you get the kind that are plug and play? I know some guys just had exposed wires without the plugs.
If could also be something not wired right in that set up. Have them send you out a new set for free.
@@Fahrenheit_Motorsports I'm going to try to look more into it this weekend, did you replace your trunk lights with LEDs? Honda tech said maybe the combination blew the fuse, but I find it hard to believe LEDs blew a 10 amp fuse.. Who knows maybe I'm wrong. But ya plug and play kit too
Have you had any issues with the light. I read on amazon someone complain that it messed up some of their sensors.please advise
Zero issues. Someone complained online (FB) that the lights void their warranty, said all the sensors were going crazy after a few weeks of using new bumper lights. When the group pressed them it was a bunch of BS. They cracked the tail light and water got it. It was causing a short in the tail light which changed the voltage in the harness causing the sensor issue but when Honda inspected they noticed the secondary bumper lights and they of course blamed it on the bumper lights instead of the obvious.

So now im gonna have to screw it back on. I doubt it was a pothole im guessing some douche hit it.

I feel like some aftermarket company could totally delete the lower part of the claw of the tail light protruding into the trunk lid if they rework the painted panel that sits above the license plate as well.
