@@WILDERNESSCOOKING I'm 30, i still remember an old man at my town, in Potrerillos, Argentina, it's a town far away from malls and it's in the mountains, he used to make us ice cream just as you did!
He still lives on my memory, i'm simply so glad that people like you are still creating memories like the ones i had for the new generations, you are amazing.

In the town where I live we have berries that become ripe every Summer/Fall. Every harvesting season you'll see neighborhoods having parties and making ice cream and other desserts out of the berries. Brings back good memories.

As a kid growing up in Alabama in the 70's I really appreciate this. After Sunday dinner at grandma and grandpa's house us kids used to sit around and take turns turning the crank on our icecream maker. Homemade icecream was always the ending to a good Sunday evening.

You can make decent icecream with sweetened condensed milk and add whatever fruit to it and then just put it in the freezer in a plastic bag or a bowl. mmm
