- In July 2012 I recorded two videos at Universal Studios Orlando of past attractions no longer open to the public . A lot has changed since those days both in my approach to documenting as well as the way I go about gaining access . Although I technically did not sneak into the locations alone and unnoticed as it may appear in the clips I do understand how posting the footage is frowned upon and can appreciate their concern. After nearly 5 years and countless return visits and annual passes to Universal Orlando Resort they have chosen at this time to trespass me from the property indefinitely .

I can *guarantee* that someone in the crowd recognized Adam and reported him to security.
Watching this again years later, I can almost guarantee they heard him screaming about his vlog at the Rock and that's how they figured out who he was. Also, Universal was obviously trying to film the opening of the ride, and my guess is that they didn't want someone screaming self promotions. To me, this seems like that may have been the catalyst for being escorted out of the park and ultimately being banned.
This seems over the top. Universal could have just requested you to remove the videos. It's unnecessary to ban such a happy and peaceful guy such as Adam. Very disappointed in Universal.

+Peanut Turner I applied for a security job once and was rejected over a few misspellings. One word was "recidivism" and I just happened to go with a "t" instead of a damn "d". They get you on the report writing which I hate anyways. I've always considered myself to be a better than average speller, and still do. So I got my pride hurt a little. But there's numbskulls in every profession if you take the time to notice.

Adam does nothing now but promote the heck out of these parks and has shown the upmost respect. If I owned a place I would love for him to come and film it, and show people how fun these places are. Honestly I wouldn't even know about anything these parks offer without Adam's videos. He has my upmost respect and if these people can't see beyond a couple videos years ago and see how much he's promoted their parks... it's their loss. Adam the Woo- major props to you and keep up the awesome work- don't let this get you down. Maybe there's somewhere else that wants you more. God bless!

Adam was absolutely allowed to film in the places that *weren't* restricted areas. He chose to ignore the rules and now has to live with the consequences.

That is the only weird thing that I see about it.....the amount of time that has gone by. I can understand though why they don't want guests wandering around in roped off areas of the park though. Anyhow....getting banned from Universal Orlando sucks, but doesn't feel like as big a kick in the nuts as getting banned from WDW to me. Yes...I like WDW more. ;)
people seem to have the misconception that he got banned for filming in the park, which is not true at all, he got banned more than likely for his trespassing videos that he dud a long time ago, he probably would've never even gotten noticed had he not been making a scene by yelling at the rock
I often read posts before posting my own comments just in case someones already said whats on my mind, and you did it, man. I thought the same thing. Had he not yelled off at dwayne like that then it woulda concealed his low profile. I know it was all in fun and games, but it drew unnecessary attention his way.
Dumb Universal Studios... no more free advertising on a super popular and rapidly growing family friendly travel vlog. Sad.

It's their loss Adam. Obviously Universal don't watch your vlogs and understand how great they are now. Also, you have over 120k subscribers who watch you daily. You are only an asset to the places you visit, often highlighting the best places to go and places unknown by many. We are from the UK and have watched every single vlog you have ever made and love every place you have been. We think that Universal should allow you back in as they are showing themselves to be very petty, unlike Disneyworld. Best of luck in the future, you are great.

oh Adam! I am truly disappointed in how you were treated by Universal Orlando! Your daily vlogs are the epitome decency and class! If the head of marketing for any theme park in central Florida was truly aware of how much genuine love and reverence you depict in your vlogs for any of the countless entertainment venues available to us consumers who visit this RUclips channel they would be paying you an annual salary for the commercial value your genuine enthusiasm and fun we see you having that makes all of us viewers want to come and experience it too! Your daily vlogs have inspired me to check out more attractions with my family than any paid advertisement I have seen either on T.V. or in print. The first time I ever went to a Universal attraction was in 1986 when I was in 5th grade we went to the Universal Studios Tour in Los Angeles California. Since then I have been back numerous times to both Los Angeles and The Kissimmee St. Cloud area to experience the best of what both coasts have to offer. But until you are allowed back on Universal Orlando property I am boycotting any and all Universal attractions and I humbly request that all Adam the Woo fans join me in boycotting all Universal attractions until Adam is allowed back on every Universal property and attraction. Further more, I request that all 120,000+ subscribers to this channel let Tom Williams, the Universal Parks Chairman and CEO, know how unhappy we are with this ridiculous and unfair punitive action taken against Adam the Woo!
What are you even babbling about? Adam severely broke the park's rules by trespassing into restricted areas and was justifiably punished for it. He has no one to blame for his lifetime banning from all UO property but himself.
C'mon Universal - give the guy a break. He's generated tons of free publicity for your parks and this one slip-up is not worthy of a LIFETIME BAN. Maybe a year-long ban would send the message that this type of activity is not tolerated. You're an AMUSEMENT PARK, not a top-secret government agency, for crying out loud.

Lol the guy escorting you is a man named Vincent. I was also working in security that day. I hated walking people out after a ban I felt more embarrassed than the people we had to follow. It was always because of a stupid reason.

I lived in Orlando Florida when Universal 1st opened. I have been there only a few times as it is WAY over priced, they nickel and dime you on everything, and the speed pass let me manage to get on 2 rides before the lines were ridiculously long.
What you described is every popular theme park in existence.

I grew up in Florida and have also loved Disney World, but they have become greedy. An average family of 4 with airline tickets and hotels trip costs around $3000-6000 dollars!! NOT exaggerated!

BTW, I WENT TO disneyworld in 71 when I think it opened. Admission was free, but you had to buy a book of tickets with the E tkt being for the best rides!

I love Adam the Woo. My 15-year-old son met him at WDW last week and he was nothing but kind. I am also a Patreon supporter of Adam. I've never seen the Nickelodeon video or the Triceratops video until now. Well, wow! I still love Adam, but he was clearly in the wrong; and you can tell from his reaction in the car after being kicked out of the park that he agrees. The Nickelodeon video was trespassing on private property without a doubt. Adam is lucky nothing worse happened to him. The fact that he entered an abandoned elevator was foolhardy at best. He could have gotten hurt or killed and Nick would probably have been held responsible.
I think that Universal would probably be more open to forgiving him if he removed the two offending videos. As long as they are still up for anyone to watch, it comes across that he doesn't have remorse, is still profiting off the trespassing and encourages others to attempt trespassing as well.
All those condemning Universal, clearly do not have any concept of the enormity of the costs of litigation in regards to liability. Adam is obviously remorseful and knows that he is in the wrong. He was just caught off guard because of the time that had passed. Honestly, he's lucky that he hasn't been sued. If this is the worst that happens to Adam, you all should consider yourselves lucky. I'm just glad he's still not stuck in that elevator.😳

The rides were a former Nickelodeon Production Facility that had a tour and a former Jurrasic Park Meet and Greet.

1.) He is still banned.

While I enjoy the videos of the various amusement parks, brought to you by TheDailyWoo, the survival of these vlogs are not contingent upon whether or not another is ever made at Universal Studios.

I think I may have posted this on the wrong video. Sorry. I was looking at the old ones to exercise my Columbo-like research skills before writing.
My email to Universal Orlando:
"I am writing to voice my concern over Universal Orlando's policy of banning people from their properties for events that happened only 4 years ago. In particular, a RUclips personality known as Adam the Woo. I don't know his last name; this is the brand he goes by. While I understand that some of his past activities may have been questionable to some degree, I really feel that Universal's response is extreme. From what I have seen, he has shot old attraction locations as part of a commentary of his past and how much he enjoyed them. There were as much a part of his personal history as they were of Universal's. You should be enthused that people build such connections and bonds to your products. Now, I (and Adam and others) understand that you may be building something new in these locations and may not want to reveal them at the moment. However, I could find nothing like that in his past videos. And, if Universal felt that there was a chance of spoiling a future opening, the worst that should have happened - AT THE TIME - was a request to stop releasing "confidential" information or behind the scenes of future attractions (not that the public would necessarily know this) along with a warning that a ban would follow should he continue his actions. To some extent, Universal (and others) should welcome Fan "promotion" of Universal "products" and attractions. Word of mouth is always the most effective form of advertising, and it usually costs the subject company nothing. I really feel that Universal should rescind the ban against Adam, call him into the office and lay out the rules. Something I have never seen in any videos or in any theme parks is NO PHOTOGRAPHY signs anywhere, with the possible exception of certain wild amusement rides and coasters. This is obviously for safety and to increase sales of your own photography of guests on the rides; fair enough. (Pun unintentional.) Please reconsider and make your "privacy" needs clearer to guests to avoid this type of problem."

I know you love the theme parks and this is probably heartbreaking for you, but it is best for your channel. You do a lot of the theme park content and for the most part, it is pretty boring (except the illicitly obtained stuff). You are at your best when you are away from your comfort zone (theme parks) and are out there exploring the world and sharing what you find with us. This will nudge you towards doing the things that made your channel as popular as it is.
Love the channels. Keep up the great work.
