Best Buddies España visit the GSK Human Performance Lab

Best Buddies is a non-profit organisation seeking to facilitate intellectually impaired athletes to achieve sporting goals through the support, guidance and friendship of a sporting buddy. In December 2015, the GSK Human Performance Lab welcomed members from Best Buddies to the lab for two days of body composition, strength and physiological assessments. We spoke to some of the athletes and their ‘buddies’ to find out more about this novel organisation and how the GSK HPL can help both the athletes and their buddies realise their sporting dreams.
