Everyone was calling him a bust , when he barely had any snaps last year. You have to give young players time to develop. Just like dean needed as well. Coaching also plays a big part. It was a reason parsons was mad when we got Carter and smith in the first round. Everyone knew what Carter was capable of but parsons also knew what Nolan was capable of aswell. He plays just like Parsons, using his athleticism & quickness. I believe we will have a top 3 DT in carter and a top 10 edge in Nolan for years to come . This defense will be special for many years. In next years draft, i will Love to see if howie adds another outside corner or edge to add the finishing touch to this masterpiece. He might draft another olineman if we can’t keep mecton
@@tbreezo6293 Yeah they're bad, but Nolan's been treating bad tackles like bad tackles, and that's encouraging. He has gotten some pressures and a sack against solid tackles this year as well.
The young guys they have on D is next level. They're STARTING 2 rookies, 3 or 4 2nd year guys, and Baun who was a throw away special teamer that the team he was on let go cause he wasn't anything. Fangio, a first year (with the Eagles) D coordinator is looking like the acquisition of the year.
Man did he just jumped over a dude? That's why watching film is so awesome, there's so much we miss during the game. Great channel and amazing film sessions thx for what u do here man, really apreciate it. Go birds!
That fact that there are 4 GA Dawgs from their 2 championship teams on the field at the same time is astonishing 😮 Broderick Jones Nolan Smith N. Dean Jalen Carter
I have so much respect for Vic. "No, we don't need to be a rotation heavy DL.. We are good. I've seen it work with my own eyes." That is called experience. The buy in from the players is what takes it to the next level.
Definitely liked the in depth video cause his impact is felt just not always reflected by the stats literally every young guy has found a stride and confidence in their lane
@ true but Philly has a louder fan base than other franchises and a ton of nationally televised games including the playoffs (not that they’ll count) so I can see him second team at the very least or it’s robbery
I see Nolan smith becoming top 15 next year he’s showing strong flashes year 2 if he keep this up and improves he’s gonna get a contract from the eagles cuz he is a first rounder 🤷🏽♂️
Nolan has been working on his ghost move since before he got drafted. I watched a clip before last season and he was at Von Millers camp specifically talking about working on his ghost move , nice to see his hard work pay off!
Nolan and Jalyx finally getting a go and making the most of it, I just want to see Ringo get some snaps now Rodgers has had enough time now and looks overmatched Fangio needs to just let go and trust in the youth movement of this team
Can you do a film study on Jalen Redmond? A 2023 UDFA that played in the UFL and then got signed by the Vikings this off-season and has since earned a starting job and has been tearing it up lately
2023 NFL DRAFT: Jalen Carter/Nolan Smith. 2024 NFL DRAFT: Quinyon Mitchell/Cooper Dejean. It’s one thing to hit on starters early in the draft but to hit on legitimate star caliber players is another thing. Also wtf was the NFL thinking letting Nolan Smith slip to pick #30 and Cooper Dejean slide to the 2nd round. 😂😂😂
NTM Quinyon Mitchell pick #22 is possibly the stupidest “NFL” shit I’ve ever seen. Just watch Q’s tape at Toledo and it’s just laughable… Pick #22… 😆😆😆
Nah, have him call Dawkins about how to PROPERLY jump over a blocker. Granted, no one wants to face a player who just got a Brian Dawkins motivational speech, but I think Nolan could use it.
Nolan always gives maximum effort which is what I love the most. The sacks will come as he plays more snaps but I just love his motor
His motor and dedication to improve can take this kid far. Dude is a beast
it’s almost scary how similar ur comment is to probably the average scouting report on BG
Nolan Smith looked like a world beater against the Steelers. Hope he keeps improving

Not saying it’s fluke but our tackles are pretty bad tbh

Pause
Smith shoving 77 back like that is insane. The OT outweighs him by 80+ lbs. Excellent technique
The crazy thing is those two played at UGA together.

Broderick Jones
Nolan Smith
N. Dean
Jalen Carter
Jordan Davis and George Pickens play for them too lol
Can’t forget Kelee Ringo too

Nolan been practicing hurdles with Saquon
Carter double teamed frees up the pass rush
Flawless analysis 💪🏽GoBirds🦅
@@ETphone_home appreciate you brother

Jalen Carter gets held every down.
Not gonna stop until he’s first team all pro and has the clout to warrant the calls.
@Typiculled can't get all pro if the oline is holding on for dear life. Can't get sacks because of the result
@ true but Philly has a louder fan base than other franchises and a ton of nationally televised games including the playoffs (not that they’ll count) so I can see him second team at the very least or it’s robbery
Waited for this one. Thank you!!!

Im sooo happy all of our bulldogs are stepping up this year!
Love these videos. Thank you!
He was raw last year but he stood out with that speed burst he has
I did this breakdown as well bro. I knew you were coming with fire 🔥
Nolan has been working on his ghost move since before he got drafted. I watched a clip before last season and he was at Von Millers camp specifically talking about working on his ghost move , nice to see his hard work pay off!
he is such a smooth runner he closes space so quick
He’s like an Off-Ball linebacker that can Rush nice Blend.
this is good shit!!

Nolan sharpens the sword against the best RT in football daily, his technique is miles ahead of where it was a season ago ! Sky’s the limit! 🦅🦅🦅
It’s all coming together!!

I remember so many fans were ready to call him a bust after last year. Tbh how many players had good seasons last year on defense.
He's really stepped up since BG got hurt
JC literally has these guards fighting for their lives lol he’s just swinging on them 😅😅😅 DAWG !!!
He’s reminding me of Aldon smith of the 49ers his first 2 seasons

@@ramonfoster1224dont be vague about it, wtf does that mean
@@mypud4068 the Quinyon comment? Bro Q was an obvious top 10 pick but slid to pick #22.
@ramonfoster1224 I think they meant NTM= Not To Mention. My brain didn't decode that at first either
Nolan deadass jumped over dude😂😂😂
💯 🔥
Nolan tossed Washington like he did in practice when they were both at Georgia
People were calling him a bust during pre season 😂😂😂
Smith tossing Washington #80.Good!!!That’s the same guy and former bulldog teammate who pulled that punk move on Slay out the end zone…👊🏽
4:14 - I hope the coaches tell him to stop trying to hurdle the blocker. Showing athleticism isn’t the goal, stopping the play is the goal.
Nah, have him call Dawkins about how to PROPERLY jump over a blocker. Granted, no one wants to face a player who just got a Brian Dawkins motivational speech, but I think Nolan could use it.
Better than Micah. And without the RUclips blogging
Backfield judge has to hold the flag on every play. DEs are too good these days.
You kinda take too long on each play but good work
If the eagles go all defense in the 2025 draft they win superbowls
7 sacks this year. He stay healthy 9 next year
Philly Dawgs
Pos should've been ejected
Pause ⏸️ 😂that title is Wild
