Imagine how scared the referee was in the undertaker vs lesnar match once he hit the 3 count, I’d be terrified like “oh no did I just screw up!” I’d be terrified if I screwed up and ruined the streak
Paul Heyman also didn't know the streak was ending. That's why his reaction is so genuine. Only people that knew aside from Brock and taker were the producers and Vince.
I agree about John Cena vs Randy Orton at WrestleMania 24 ..instead of Triple H Even worse, John Cena vs edge at the 25th anniversary of WrestleMania …instead of the big show To me, John Cena’s matches with his two greatest rivals that robbed WrestleMania.
Don’t forget Edge too. We never got a one on one with Cena and Edge. The closest thing we got was in the Triple Threat match with Big Show at Wrestlemania 25.
Bret has gone on record and said he would have loved to wrestle Kurt Angle in his prime. He said no to WMX8, but gave Angle further explanation why. I think Kurt went more into detail about that in the same podcast episode.
I know the video is a few months old, but the John Cena Orton fact is relevant now that Cena announced retirement. Wrestlemania 41 has to be where Cena and ortan finally fight 1on1 even if there's no title
It is more impressive that the undertaker has defeated 4 members of evolution at WrestleMania But two members of D generation X on the grand stage Triple H and Shawn, Michaels
I remember the posters and the conversations about the triple threat match at WrestleMania 29… People were saying that CM punk deserved to be in a main event between the rock and John Cena.. On the flipside, they were thinking about Brock Lesnar to be in a triple threat with the rock and John Cena .. those are the conversations I remember in 2013.
I took my son to WM24. We live in Orlando; so, it was cool to only have to travel 20 minutes to get to the Citrus Bowl. From our seats, Kardashian looked like a curvy green spot. And we were just a few feet from the pyro accident.
41:09 but the start of it from the first 30 Shocking 100 True Facts Of WWE Wrestlemania my goodness gracious I didn’t know about some of those things that happened mind blowing 🤯🤯🤯
26:48 while the fact is true, i just wanted to point out that The Undertaker did not main event in 23 and 25. 23 was Cena vs HBK and Batista and Undertaker decided they would have the match they had because their time was cut if I remember. And Wrestlemania 25 main event was Orton vs HHH.
The "bomb scare" excuse came because this was during the Iraqi Sympathizer Sgt. Slaughter gimmick and Sarge mained that year. There is truth to him getting threats but the claim of a bomb scare at the arena was always BS.
34:15 I am convinced that Vince McMahon was playing some sort of rib with the Undertaker. Some of the opponents that Undertaker had is just beyond stupid
I want to see some real long form content. Ross reacts to early OSW episodes. There are many reasons for this to exist. I dont think the boys would mind.
I'll be honest.. I haven't watched wrestling with any regularity since the late 90s.. so when I saw the rumble winner of, whatever rumble it was, point at the wrestlemania sign.. I was confused, because I was like.. 'duh. We know you're going there. That's the whole point.' ...Good for marketing and extra pyro, I guess, but still. I stand by my initial confusion even in retrospect.
Apparently at WrestleMania 30 it was a late decision during the match to end a streak because undertaker was not doing well but i do know for sure undertaker does not remember alot of that match he said he doesn't even remember going to the hospital
Damn if Orton vs Cena does happen at a mania, I feel like it should be a record vs career match to make it more special for the two legends, like orton said if somehow the match happens for a world title it should be for who breaks flairs record when/if orton gets 16 title reigns under his name but a simple career vs career wouldn't be bad either
Summary: WrestleMania matches would be better if Vince was apart of it. No Punk/Rock/Cena, no Sting/Undertaker, Sting/Angle or Sting/Bret, Rock losing at both WM17 & WM2000, Elias/Cena (I guess), etc.
Easy setup for an Orton/Cena match at mania would be to have Orton eventually win a world title and have Cena beat him for it to break the record of world titles held.
To me at WrestleMania 24 between John Cena and Randy Orton was a robbery.. and Triple H has no business to be in a main event, especially elimination chamber never happened at No Way Out PPV.., we remembered that story back in 2007 John Cena was unstoppable in his prime and he was the longest reigning WWE champion for 380 days until he got hurt on October 1 with a torn peck muscle.. and Randy Orton won the WWE championship without the opponent at no mercy PPV.. then Cena comes back from 3 months later and won the Royal Rumble… it would’ve been a better story between Cena and Orton that was building for months until it ruined..
@pleaseshutup7053 yes he did. I am sure he wasn't in good terms with WWE and his multiple concussions in WCW left a sour taste. Not to mention the numerous tragedies within the family
Yeah Big Show was wrong. If you're gonna do a losing streak angle, its gotta be a plucky "never give up" underdog, maybe one with a bit more of a comedy angle so they are always endearing and the crowd doesn't turn on them for losing so much, so when they do finally win, it blows the top off the arena. (Though 22 years is a LONG time to build something like that.) Giants like him are supposed to be threatening, terrifying. Give a giant a losing streak and there's no credibility, he just looks bad and in turn, beating him holds no meaning for the talent you're trying to put over.
39:00 that's not even true, considering Bray Wyatt's passing. The latest mania to have all people still be alive would be 38 seeing as Bray competed at 37

3:18 wow I didn’t know Cena vsPunk vs Rock that’s a crazy match for the wwe title
Yeah same here I didn’t know that as well my goodness gracious
Punk has said this many times
Paul Heyman also didn't know the streak was ending. That's why his reaction is so genuine. Only people that knew aside from Brock and taker were the producers and Vince.
The fact that Triple H almost had a match against Ray Lewis and The Rock at Wrestlemania 17 is crazy to think about 😂
I’m kinda mad that Cena and Orton never had a 1v1 match at WrestleMania. Those two are my favorites of ALL TIME 🐐
They carried half of the pg era on their own. They don’t need a WM match to solidify the greatest of the feud.
Maybe they can one last time before one of them or both of them retire. It doesn’t have to be the main event but I bet it’ll be a great match
I agree about John Cena vs Randy Orton at WrestleMania 24 ..instead of Triple H

I'm so excited about WrestleMania XL tomorrow and Sunday

We got MANY edge vs cena matches
@@sirjoeyy7355you clearly missed the point. What’s the video about? WRESTLEMANIA, not general facts. 🤦♂️

Punk v Rock v Cena would have fed families. We were robbed. Vince truly hated us uno
Randy Orton vs John Cena NEEDS to HAPPEN at wrestlemania 41, or at a wrestlemania event somewhere in the future.
Seeing Triple H getting legitimately knocked out by Tyson during that time could have been the funniest moment in WWE history
I was looking for a video and boy I clicked this video so fast😭😭

WM 19 is the first and so far only WM to be main evented by two wrestlers using their real names (Kurt Angle vs. Brock Lesnar).
Orton VS Cena has to be the retirement match for either of them.
39:25 didn't jimmy snuka wrestle the undertaker at wrestlemania or am I wrong.
You right he did
I could’ve sworn that Undertaker was the first point at the WrestleMania sign in 2007
The "bomb scare" excuse came because this was during the Iraqi Sympathizer Sgt. Slaughter gimmick and Sarge mained that year. There is truth to him getting threats but the claim of a bomb scare at the arena was always BS.

He only did the standard Undertaker kneeling pose at the 07 Rumble, and he just stood up when the pyro hit.

Tbh, I wouldn't mind if Abyss faced Undertaker at Mania 23.
It can happen in a WWE 2k24 game.
I mean, if I had to choose between a boxing match or a sumo match at WrestleMania...
Funny this is Brock didn't want to end the streak, but Taker threatened him into doing it, Brock has a ton of respect for the Undertaker.
