This was during the 1st recording session of Dylan's album New Morning on 1st May 1970 in Columbia Studio B (NYC) , all in one take , no rehearsals , only playing to fun . Photo is in Woodstock (NY) dec.1968 near Dylan's house , they played and composed together 'Nowhere To Go' which go on list to Harrison's All Things Must Pass but never released oficially , plus I'll Have You Any Time and a cover of If not for You . Two genius at one take .

I’ve always found Yesterday rather maudlin. I wasn’t going to listen to this but I couldn’t resist. Glad I did. Dylan gives the song some real humanity and George’s guitar work is fabulous as always. I like the heavy bass, too.
