From a retired chipper who started at 9yrs old and my great grand father started in Dundee in late 1800's
There is ONE that I know of, and it's Gordon Ramsay, on the Linq in Las Vegas. It is no-nonsense quality at very high volume, well worth a visit. No matter what one might think of the TV Gordon, his food is serious and absolutely delicious. Malt vinegar is self-serve too!
Ramsay's is shitty. There is one in Charleston, SC owned by an expat I heard is good. Authentic with curry sauce. Usually there is a "British" pub in a big city frequented by hipsters and "Genees" that serve Capt. D's grade fish and chips.
My whole family are coming over from Saigon, Vietnam. Making a stop in York just so we can go to this place:)))))) Brilliant! So proud of Britain and British food!!!
When you’re back in Saigon try the chicken or beef phò at MOJO on Dong Khoi st Q1, (it’s part of the Sheraton on Dong Du). It might be $10 a bowl and you’re not sitting on a plastic stool amongst the motorbikes on the pavement but it’s just so good.
