    I've been wanting to make one as well for my office but love how the angle of where you are putting it connects all the greenery outside into the home and doesn't clash. I hope I'm half as successful at you in making mine, you did a fantastic job!

      Hi! I didn’t leave a link for the bun moss because it wasn’t a good experience. But I got it on Etsy. There are multiple vendors that sell bun moss on there.

      Thank you!! I used different kinds of moss, but all together it was about 20lbs of moss. I know when you purchase online it goes by weight so I hope that helps. But just remember that you will mostly be using sheet moss to go around the moss balls. I hope that helps!

    How long does it stay "unchanged" ? Do you need to spray water to keep its humidity ?

      Thank you, it is preserved moss. No maintenance needed. As long as it’s not in direct sunlight it will keep its color.

      Hi there, I can’t remember the exact name but what I searched for was preserved ferns and it was one of the plants that popped up.

      Thank you ☺️ as long as you protect the moss from direct sunlight, it should keep its color since it has been chemically preserved.

      Since it is already dry and preserved it shouldn’t turn brown unless maybe you have it in direct sunlight. All links to where I got my moss are in the description box. Thank you!

      Most of them I just shaped with my hand. Some I put a little poly filling under them. I tried the styrofoam on one and it was too much work and would have costed a lot more so I didn’t bother to use it.

    I love your work. what is the green sheet/background you used in the project? Would you please make a video about how to make the frame please?

      Hi there thank you, I made several videos on the whole process including the frame. Please click my videos tab and you will find the video for how to build the frame. I used regular wood for the background of my project and painted it green so that if there were any gaps in the moss you would not see the wood.

    And did you correctly preserved moss so it remains green? Without embalming that art piece is going to lose all its colour and look really bad without embalmin process

      I purchased it from a company that did it right. 3 years later it is still green.

    It’s truly beautiful but I need more details about the process. What is the green sheet that your used over the pieces of wood (and under the moss), which glut did you use? How are the tweaks holding in place since they seemed off wall ?

      I painted the wood green to prevent any of the wood showing through in case there were gaps between the moss.

      Thank you! I am not sure how much area it will cover but I used about 20 lbs of moss and I had some left over. They have some sites that provide the coverage.

      Probably around a square foot or two, if this was 60 square foot and they used 20x the amount I guess you could cover around 3square foot but that seems very generous.

    How much did this cost to make? I am wanting to make roughly 4ft by 3ft moss art for my dining room and am having hard time estimating how much moss I actually need.

      I used about 25 lbs of moss. So I would say maybe 10 lbs should be enough. I spent around $500-$600

    How to you care or preserve the moss? Does the moss get brittle and fall off?

      The moss is pretty maintenance free. I plan to put out a video on how my wall looks. Just keep out of direct sunlight and don’t let people touch it.

    How did it end up being? what is the best way to hang something this large? Did you nail the panels to the frame part?

      Yes the panels are nailed to the frame and I used a system called ook with the weight requirements for this piece.

      It is doing great! Still holding up well and sheds minimally. The only thing that can off was the amaranthis plant which was fragile from the start. I will be making an update video soon.

      Thank you, They are all all preserved plants. No roots needed.
