Making art as my therapy and thankfully found your video. I preserve my own moss and have always loved the way it looks but never thought to make wall art until now. I can't wait to make one thank you for such a great informative video! Beautiful art WOW 😍
Art is definitely a form of therapy for me too. I’m so glad you found my video! I have a few more videos on my page on the moss art. Please make sure to share your final results! @nicolericcaofficial on ig. I am very intrigued that your preserve your own moss. Do you use anything specific to keep the color?
Hi there, thank you. No I haven’t noticed any difference in the wood. As long as you stain the wood to protect it, it should be fine. I used pine wood. Also keep in mind that these are hung indoor.
I have questions! Does the glue hurt the moss? How do you care and water the moss wall? I've seen people mist theirs I wondered if you do the same! I love it and plan to make one but I definitely don't want it to die on me! Going to watch your other video just in case that answers my questions!
I used loose moss, mood moss, sheet moss, and a few fake pieces of moss. Yes I use the super moss brand and I believe I put the links in the description box. Good Luck!
I have used hot glue for smaller projects. But with the size of this project, hot glue would have been and expensive option with how many glues sticks I would have to purchase. Also hot glue dries so fast. So if I didnt like the way something is resting, I would ruin the moss by ripping it off. Gorilla glue is an option as well.
I’m so glad you’re not kissing the behind of companies just because…deals plus quality. So who do you recommend for bang for the bulk&quality preserver moss?
Thank you, honesty is the best policy. Super moss is the best for bulk moss. Their moss is decent. As far as the pillow moss, the company that I don’t recommend had very nice quality moss, but again didn’t get what was listed. I only got half. There are a few on Etsy that sell good quality moss, you just have to compare prices.
Thank you! I bought most of the preserved moss off of Amazon and Etsy. Although I did see a link where you can preserve your own moss that you pick but it seems like a lot of work.
The glue is construction glue. A glue gun can work but if your piece is large it would take too much hot glue vs the construction glue. Also what I like about the glue I used is that it doesn’t dry too fast and if I want to move something around, I can.
I went online and saw how expensive moss wall art is! I’m so excited to try it myself! Thanks for the awesome tutorial!

At first I wanted to buy a moss wall art but then decided I should try to make my own. I really liked your video... It was really helpful.
Thank you! Good luck!!
Wow this is so creative and turned out so good!!! Thank you for sharing ❤️
Thank you 🙏
I have a deer antler which i have had for ages but not been able to use for anything so far so this will be ideal !
Great project! Have you noticed any decomposition of your wooden frame after a year?? I am wondering what I should make my frame out of!

So creative!! Love this channel
Thanks for the love!!

Thanks for watching my other videos! I’m glad it answered your question.
Stunning 💙
do you need to seal this or treat the surface of it in anyway to keep bug out and/or keep all the greenery in?
Love this! so pretty!
Thank you, no treatment needed with the exception of keeping it out of direct sunlight. And it should stay indoors.
So in terms of types of moss
is this a combination of super moss - reindeer moss - and a bun moss? All from Amazon?
I used loose moss, mood moss, sheet moss, and a few fake pieces of moss. Yes I use the super moss brand and I believe I put the links in the description box. Good
Luck!
I just saw your moss art im trying to find long rectangular frames do you have any suggestions
I do have a video that shows you how to make your own frame. But not sure where to find them made.
Is liquid nails the most discreet & reliable adhesive ? I heard hot glue or standard construction grade gorilla glue

Also hot glue dries so fast. So if I didnt like the way something is resting, I would ruin the moss by ripping it off. Gorilla glue is an option as well.
And to answer your question, the construction glue was the best choice for this size project. It’s been a year and so far it’s still standing well.
@@WillowMint Okay construction glue it is. I want to go with what is cheaper but more reliable mostly

@@WillowMint Super Moss for bulk, copy that. Thank you
Amazing! Do you preserve your own moss? If you do can you attach the link? Thanks for the video, great work!

Amazing! 👏🏽👏🏽 What is the lever attached to the glue tube used for ?
It is a caulking gun, so it squeezes the glue down the tube. Thank you!
@@WillowMint Thanks!🤗
Do you have a recommendation for the empty frame, source? thx
I bought the wood from Lowe’s and built the frame. I have a video on my channel that teaches you how to build the frame.
Hi!
I've seen your part 1 video as well and I was wondering if you could share the information of the fern you used. ☺️
Hi there, I googled preserved ferns and a bunch of different kinds popped up. I don’t remember the name of that specific fern 🤔
Is this glue stronger than the glue gun or mod?
The glue is construction glue. A glue gun can work but if your piece is large it would take too much hot glue vs the construction glue. Also what I like about the glue I used is that it doesn’t dry too fast and if I want to move something around, I can.
I love this. Thanks for thoroughly explaining this.
QUESTION: Did you go to Thomas Jefferson High School?
You are welcome! No I didn’t
Where did you get your frame?
I made the frame. I have a tutorial video on how to make the frame on my page.
Is this Moss living? How do you water it?
No, it is preserved moss
Where did you buy the moss
All the links are in the description box
How do you keep the moss alive?
It is preserved, no longer alive.
Where did you get the wooden frame?
I built it from scratch, I have a video that teaches you how to build it. Check it out!!
Where did you get the frame?
I made the frame, I unfortunately lost the footage of me building it so I made a second video showing how to make it. You can find it under my videos.
is it durable?
Yes as long as you are touching it or putting it in direct sunlight.
how much does the moss cost?
It depends on the types of masks that you purchase. The links for the moss or in the description box above.
😎
Next time can you list where your supplies came from
Hi there, it is listed in the description box on my large moss wall video.
