Im brand new to saddle hunting and see every advantage and right now I have. a Cruiser. saddle and Hawk Helium mini's with the daisy chain. Honestly I haven't used them much other than a few practice trips up a tree and can easily say this system is way better than any other Ive seen. I was on a probably 10-12" tree. yesterday. and it was the first time out with them in 2. years, when I first got the set up and (A). the Hawks were. an absolute PITA to get apart, (B) the steps folding straight out, I could barley get the balls of my foot on each step and that was an average to smaller tree and I only wear a size 10.5 boot. Lastly, that. daisy chain system is kind of a pain and none of the holes lined up so I had to either turn the stick or just set it higher but in the end made a whole lot of noise compared to these.
can you tell me how much foot room you have when the stick in attacked to the tree or from the stand off to the step? Just would like to know how much the angle helps with foot room, no one has measured that yet, thanks for the review.
I had my new set on the tree and measured it. I got 5" 1/8 inches to the outside edge of the step at the end of it and 3" 1/8 inch to the outside edge near the stick. So the angle gives you a couple of extra inches as it goes across.
I was lucky enough to get a sneak peak at these this past summer, they are seemed very well built, unfortunately I had already purchased the Novix mini double step sticks which are at the same price point. They are a nice stick to but not as compact.
I have a set and the one issue I have is that on bigger trees there’s no weight on the tip on the Amstel to throw around the tree but overall there really good sticks!
@@ridgeraisedoutdoors Been reading a lot on them and it sounds like they're sending replacements as they are needed and people are still receiving sticks with the old style standoffs vs the updated ones . Still thinking it over, see that beast is currently having a sale on their sticks as well, $59 per for the sticks without holes is tempting but seems they pack funny. Decisions
Disappointed by their weight. They're advertised at 2 pounds flat and you weighed them above that. Why is it so hard to manufacturers to be honest about their gear weight? Hunting Beast Gear seems to be the only honorable company in the regard.
I've been using my lone wolf sticks over 8years now and I just sold it because I want to go towards the two step instead of one. Been doing some research for new hunting climbing sticks than came across this vid. I was sold by the angle of the steps and cam lock versa button. I finally put in the order for a set to pair it with my lone wolf hang-on stand.

Yes, they are!
Good review

Definitely should use them for next archery season.

I’ll do that when I get the chance! Thanks

The day they came out
@@ridgeraisedoutdoors yeah, I ordered mine within 24 hours of the drop..
Weird. I got mine in 3 days. I know they said the first 100 people who bought them are guaranteed before Christmas
@@ridgeraisedoutdoors I must have been slow on the draw 🤷🏻♂️ oh well I'll use my current set for late season
@@bowhunter24_7 I ordered mine 3rd of December also still waiting

I also did a review on the Novix doubles, they’re great sticks as well!
@@ridgeraisedoutdoors Yes, I believe I watched your review before buying them!
👍
@@ridgeraisedoutdoorswhich one would you go with if you had to pick?
Novix

Seem like the perfect stick for my needs but than sadly I saw the stand offs are bending on them :(.
There’s a little play in them yes but still pretty solid. Nothing to be over concerned about

I love my beast sticks, but I own the ones with holes. Let me know if you have any questions

I agree! That’s a great point. LWCG seems to be pretty honest as well
To be fair, he also used a fish scale, not sure how accurate those are..

Awesome, you won’t be disappointed! Good luck out there
I went from the lone wolf sticks also to the skeletors. I was tired of the single step trying to hang my stand
