I was 15 my husband was 18. This was our song. This was the only song played at his funeral. We were married 50 years and 6 momths. Soon we'll take our wings and fly.
This reminds me of my parents. My mom passed away 4 years ago and he was by her side until her very last breath. He asked her to marry him when she turned 18 on Christmas he said that was the best gift he ever got when she said yes. Even as they got older he would hold the door for her and they held hands everywhere they went. She was 73 . Thanks for the song
Love says it will - my son (16) has had the honor of attending the 50th wedding anniversary of both sets of his grandparents, despite many factors working against both couples.
Don’t let anyone tell you how y’all feel. Love really does conquer all. I was 32 when I met my wife and she was 18. Everything was stacked against us but yesterday was 22 years together. I wish y’all the best of everything life has. BTW this song makes MY wife cry too. 🙂
Tanya is a country music legend & just won 2 Grammy's last year and this coming March is her 50th year as a country star. Check out "Love Me Like You Used To" "The Wheels of Laredo" & "Without You What Do I Do With Me" These are just 3 really good ones. I think you will be impressed. #STAYSAFE
I was so touched watching your reaction but it is so sweet. The lyrics to the song have always touched my heart as well and I was glad that you were inspired by the love of someone’s parents
Love how Tanya can look as elegant as a 50s movie starlet or as country as the girl next door. Absolutely beautiful, I was 10 yrs old when she started songing at age 13. I had such a crush on her
Your reactions are stunning. I enjoy them immensely. There is a song by Randy Travis called Three Wooden Crosses with a twist that surprisingly few reactors catch. But I have complete faith on you!!!
This is one of my fave Tanya Tucker songs going back to growing up listening to her in the 70s. As a pick me up, try out "San Antonio Stroll" by Tanya if you haven't already done so.
For your country journey, I would recommend female artists from the early to mid 90s. There were a lot of strong female artists at that time. A few of the top of my head are: Tanya Tucker Reba Lorrie Morgan Pam Tillis Kathy Matea Mary Chapin Carpenter Trisha Yearwood Suzy Bogus (not sure of her last name spelling)
Tanya was one of those rare singers who could INFUSE emotion into her songs. No matter which song she sings (What's Your Mama's Name, Blood Red and Goin' Down, Love Me Like You Used To, Spring, The Thunder Rolls) there is no doubt that you FEEL her emotion in the delivery.
I always loved this song…Glad you got to it. I love songs like this and AJ’s “Remember When”… I would like to suggest Colin Ray’s “Love Me”, Lee Brice “A Woman Like You”, Jeff Carson “Real Life”, Alan Jackson “Sissy ‘s Song”, Montgomery Gentry “Letters From Home” and Bread “Aubrey”…and Eva Cassidy - “Fields of Gold”. I think you may have done “If You Could Read My Mind” [Gordon Lightfoot] and “We’ve Got Tonight” [Bob Seger]. As your long list of reaction videos adds up, I’d like to suggest posting a list of them on your channel page with the dates…so people don’t constantly bombard you with the same ones you’ve done already. Love the channel…you two are great!
Another great reaction, Ms. Tasha. ♥️ I think people who have bad experiences are definitely validated in that but they forget that their experience is not everyone's and there is no reason to say discouraging things to others and diminish their hope. I always enjoyed "What's Your Momma's Name" by Tanya Tucker and feel it's worth a listen. On another note: Yes Ms Tanya looks amazing in the video, just like you look amazing in this video, Ms Tasha. ♥️♥️
I fell in love with her when I was 3 when delta dawn came out. Loved wild blondes ever since. Since you're from Georgia check out her song "that Georgia sun was blood red and going down "
She had her first big success at a very young age (13)with Delta Dawn. Once she was 20 she seemed to just vanish after last being known for being in a may/ December relationship with Glen Campbell that didn’t seem to end well with allegations of abuse from what I remember, I was just a kid at the time. Then she reappeared in the 90s in her 40s with this album that had huge success at the time. There were 3 other hits on this album my favorite being “ it’s a little too late”. She kind of fell off the radar again after this album
You should really do Tanya Tucker...Delta Dawn. She recorded it at 13yrs old!! What's Your Mama's Name is also a great one she does! It's hard to find a bad song from her. She has that very distinctive voice!!
The older Tanya gets, the better her voice sounds. You should listen to her earlier songs. Good story songs; "Blood Red & Goin' Down" "Delta Dawn" "The Jamestown Ferry" "Lizzie & The Rainman" "Here's Some Love" "What's Your Mama's Name" "Would You Lay With Me(in a field of stone)" "You've Got Me To Hold On To" Tanya has a long list of songs to pick from. The ones l mentioned are a few from the 70s.
T made the BEST decision of his life marrying you and vice versa, you two are a great couple. I really think, and I don't mean to be a pest, that is why a GREAT song for you to listen to as a couple is Little Moments by Brad Paisley
A much more upbeat, fun country song to listen to is 'I've Been Everywhere" by Hank Snow. For full effect you should listen to the version without the lyrics first.
What ever level you have the volume set on this video is the way you need to set it from here on out... Love your reactions but I often have trouble hearing what you are saying in your videos.. I can hear you loud and clear in this one.. Great reaction..
I hate seeing you cry but I'm glad that at least this time it's because the message is a sweet, touching one. 🤍 I'd like to request 2 upbeat songs for your Friday Night DANCE PARTY. Maybe that name will get the message across to those that are requesting slow songs. It's not just that either. It's that they type the requested song over and over so that it overpowers everyone else's requests. But know that just because someone like that requests the slow song over and over, that doesn't mean that all of us want it. There has been several times that one of the two of you answered someone's question about why your playing something slow with "well YA'LL keep requesting it so it must be what YA'LL want. NO, it's not YA'LL. It's 1 OR 2 loud pushy ppl. Don't let them ruin the hootinanny for the rest of us. Bah ha ha I have no idea how to spell that!! 😅 🤦♀️ oh wait, I don't need to cause it's now a country dance party😁😁😁😁 YAWWW HOOOO That's me starting a 2 step. My requests are *** Girls Night Out by the Judds ***The Shake by Neil McCoy This last Friday was my first so idk if you've already played these. If so, pls let me know and I'll come up with a couple more. You need a few that you know are upbeat if you run into some slow stuff. Pls tell the masculine T not to play those slow one out. Tell him to move on because the feminine T needs a groove. 😃🙃😁
I know you like history, check out on Rumble, the Sequel to the fall of the Cabal. Eye opening to our real world and why. My friend grew up with Tayna Tucker
If you havent checked out Deep South yet you, should listen to In Hell I’ll BeIn Good Company. It seems lighthearted but the words are about a murder suicide
Sweetheart, have you reacted to "You Never Even Call Me By My Name (The Perfect Country And Western Song) by David Allen COE! It's definitely the Perfect Country And Western Song! Please! 🤔🤔🤔🤗🤗😎
David is great…but Steve Goodman, the writer [along with the late John Prine] is even better [more fun]…he has some super live performances and of course a great catalogue - a pity he died young.
this was my 4th and her 3rd. we've been together 32 years. time is slowly catching up with us but we still love and respect each other and we will lie side by side when the time comes
The beautiful Tasha. Great reaction to a legend in country. We need to continue the Tom Macdonald journey. No new reactions in 3 weeks. We need you to try some Tom rock tracks like Heart Emojis. I think you would both love Church as well. Politically Incorrect has a great chorus. And do you have a single twin sister out there? Keep up the great work! Your husband is a lucky fella.
I was 15 my husband was 18. This was our song. This was the only song played at his funeral. We were married 50 years and 6 momths. Soon we'll take our wings and fly.

I think TNT is amazing u-tube channel. Your country music journey is the best. I admire both of you.
Kathy Mattea's "Where've You Been?" It's a must see.
I totally agree on this one... And Colin Raye "Love, Me"
Delta dawn is her massive hit she was only a teenager
Tanya Tucker is one talented woman. I've been a fan for years. Thanks for reacting to her. 👍🏼
#STAYSAFE
Thank you for really listening and feeling the song from the heart. Your tears spoke a beautiful language and translated the depth of the lyrics.
Tanya Tucker has been singing since she was a child. She has been around for a long time.
I was so touched watching your reaction but it is so sweet. The lyrics to the song have always touched my heart as well and I was glad that you were inspired by the love of someone’s parents
Beautiful song. Tanya’s wonderful! Your reaction Tasha was so lovely and touching. 😊🌹
Welcome back. The rockabilly was getting to you.I love the vulnerable side.Just remember why you started the real country.Good job.
Thank you! Beautiful song! I love Tanya Tucker’s voice.
Love how Tanya can look as elegant as a 50s movie starlet or as country as the girl next door. Absolutely beautiful, I was 10 yrs old when she started songing at age 13. I had such a crush on her
Tanya is great, a couple more of her songs you could check out:
I Wont Take Less Than Your Love
Strong Enough to Bend

I love Tanya! Thank u.
One of her greatest songs❤️ You have a love for country music 🙏🏻
Hey this year was my 26th with my husband ❤️ I love this song it makes me cry because I can’t stand the thought of being without my love
Tanya is great country artist. This is a great song. You are a sweet reactor. I am an amazing commenter.
One of my favorites of Tanya.
Two songs similar to this are:
" Where've you been" -
Kathy Mattea.
"Love, Me" -
Collin Raye
Give them listen for a good cry.
You need to listen to, "I won't Take less than Your Love." You will like it.
If a couple works together and for each other as love dictates, they can be together in joy and love for as long as both are in this world.
Dang girl...you start crying and you get me to crying 😢..but in a happy way..love you and yours.

A good one for advice on marriage success (and really all interpersonal relationships) is Diamond Rio's "Meet in the Middle"
Tanya Tucker was rough tough and hard to bluff she was a bit of a wild child but she was famous at a young age but the girl can sing
Love this song. Been a Tanya Tucker fan since the 70s. You really need to react to her song "Spring". Its from the 70s. Beautiful song.
I fell in love with her when I was 3 when delta dawn came out. Loved wild blondes ever since.
Since you're from Georgia check out her song "that Georgia sun was blood red and going down "
Strong enough to bend, If it don't come easy and I'll come back as another woman are all good Tanya Tucker songs too
Blood Red and Going Down, is a great song of hers!
I love T. T.
A lovely song of hope. Thanks for the reaction.

And won her first ever Grammy with Bring My Flowers Now
@@revjdavidson I didn’t even know about that song but I did check it out just now. It was awesome.
@@rickgibson4641 Her last album in 2019 is a really good album that won her 2 Grammy's last year.

Yes I just became aware of that and have checked it out, loved it.
She had a major comeback in 2020. She was even nominated for Record of the Year at the 2020 Grammys

Not sure if you've listened to Clint Black, Nothing but the Taillights is a fun song and Like The Rain is another good one of his
Don't forget Killin Time, my favorite Clint Black song
Also he did a good cover of Desperado
My parents will be celebrating their 61st anniversary the end of March and my mom says she still likes him....LOL
I !love your heart❤
Tasha, You need to listen to Brad Paisley sing "She's Everything". A girl like you deserves to have that song sung to her.
Love is a verb, not a noun.
