Bronzing/contouring my fivehead has made such a difference. I have naturally gray hair and if I ever get foundation or bronzer in my hair I take a makeup wipe to get it out(I don’t use them to actually clean my face). It works great and I wear my hair with my natural curls so it doesn’t mess up the style. Enjoyed the video as always❤️
When I saw the title of the video I knew I had to watch because I watched the blush one you did and learned a lot. Now I learned about the bronzer placement also. I never do my forehead as it is small & u wear bangs so it only gets seen if the wind blows. Thanks 😊

I'm also a member of the "larger" forehead club😊 Discovering a more cool toned bronzer has made a huge difference in my makeup! Years ago my bronzer was more of an orange/brown glowy product that I used to mimic the sun like you did. I like the cooler toned so much more! This really helped me to define how I want to bronze my face!
I love how you show technique. My blushers now look so much better now thanks to your placement and application tips. Yep, I’m a new blush fiend, and I think I’m going to add bronzers to that too! I had never thought of bronzers being cool or warm toned, so this is new info for me. Can’t wait to see your next vid on this!! I would love to hear what your mum thinks of bronzers and how she uses them, etc. Love you Gemma!! THank you so much
You are really brilliant at doing videos exactly at the same time that I’m thinking of doing or buying something, I was literally in Superdrug wondering which bronzer to buy, I came out empty handed and confused 😀 this is ideal!!
So pretty, and super helpful. Thank you, again. I recently went on a bush safari holiday and did not pack any eyeshadow...so I used my bronzer on the eyelids instead, and it looked quite OK and pleasing actually!
Hi Gemma as someone who is the palest of the pale (often struggling to find a pale enough complexion product) bronzer is not something I use very often - whereas blush and I are firm friends lol. I often use blush to add some dimension to the face, rather than bronzer - often using two shades of blush. Summer is the only time of year I wear a whisper of bronzer and even then need it to have a tinge of pink included. The fair version of the laura gellor bronze n brighten has been a longstanding go to, or bobbi brown antigua. Both have some pink to them and on my cool toned pale skin look the most natural. This year instead I've been using some tinted spf as a very light bronzer - approx 2 shades darker than my natural skintone applied quite lightly. It also looks quite natural (skinceuticals tinted spf 50 mineral liquid) on my skin as it's almost translucent with a hint of colour. For those with extremely pale cool toned skin bronzer is a difficult thing to master - we rarely have much natural warmth to the skin. I'm much paler even than yourself, with the extremely white skin normally only seen on redheads/blondes in Scotland or Ireland (I'm Scottish with strawberry blonde hair). Yellow toned bronzers or even neutral toned bronzers rarely work on my skintone, even when they're in a fairer shade. Just a thought for the pale and pasty even in Summer lol - you need some pink in it to look natural. Best wishes.
I have been self tanning and I don't like to use that stuff on my face. I have recently been using my bronzer like you did (summer look) and I LOVE the look. Thanks for this video!
Great video! Could you use a bit of a cool toned to chisel out the cheekbone and then a warm all over the face ? I havent tried that, not sure how they'd over lap on the cheek bone ..
Such great content! I’m looking forward to the bronzer for pale skin video. Would you mind sharing what your foundation shade is? (maybe a MAC one as it’s almost a standard) That would be very helpful to figure out if the bronzers would translate to us, since the camera lights can sometimes be a bit deceiving. I own a standard hoola and I’m an NC15 so I have made that mistake before! :)
Well, I've been applying bronzer in a crazy way. Thank you for this video tutorial, it's super helpful. Could you please provide a link to the brush you use? I have so many bronzer brushes and feel none of them really do the job.
Great video, I have been looking for a nice cool tones bronzer for awhile, having made the mistake of thinking they all look the same. Can’t wait for your favourites video to come out. I watched the blush video and have incorporated it into my daily wear!
Great video Gemma thank you 🌸 I use a warm bronzer as my blush color and a cool toned bronzer wherever else I think is needed. I have a olive complexion maybe this is the reason I can get away with it. Haha..🙃 Bless 🕊
All your videos are so entertaining. A large forehead and head indicates higher intelligence and IQ! Always apply my blusher with the 2 finger technique and now the 3 finger for the bronzer. Excellent video thank u Gemma
Great video, Gemma! (Not that you have ever done a bad one 😉.) As your shade twin I'm looking forward to the bronzer reviews/shades coming soon 💃. There is no link to the foundation or the beautiful lipstick you are wearing in this video 🤔. Love, hugs and kisses 😘
Sorry Sabine. It's been a busy week and I'm still getting better from an illness so I missed a few things by accident. Still not thinking clearly. xxx A foundation review is coming soon. Watch this space. xxx
You have a lot of knowledge, your Dermarolling video, was saved so i can do it properly. I was put off by Dermarolling, as the few videos i watched, there face was bleeding. They were obviously using the roller with longer needles. What i didn't know, was that you get different lengths. Your video was spot on. With Bronzers, i just get one that just says light. Not one Bronzer actually says, Cool or warm. Can you recommend a drugstore bronzer, for a fair complexion, that doesn't make me look orange Jemma. I just want a natural glow finish. My skintone is like yours. 💖
Gemma turned me on to the Maybelline City Bronzer. She was using 200 instead of the 100 because she said 100 was too light. I was never able to wear bronzer before because I am so fair but this works great.
Do you think you could ever do a face brush video for synthetic and real, inexpensive and expensive video please? I think I remember you doing one, but I think it was for eye brushes.
Bronzer is a funny thing (to me anyway). I'm not confident with it and I've found that cream bronzers not only look more natural on me but they're also far easier for me to apply. Here goes a controversial thought : Whenever I see contouring of the jawbone it always appears to look "dirty" to me! Is it just me and my cuckoo brain or does anyone else think the same as me? Anyhooo, thank you for the tip to brush upwards, it's not something I've done before but seeing you do it, definitely on the cheek bones, was eye opening. Great tips Gemma, thank you for demonstrating them all, 🙏💗🌟💗🌟💗🌟
I do the "3 and E" thing with bronzer but I'm a bit wary of bronzing my jaw too much. Never sure if it looks right or if I need to carry on down my neck (which I don't do in case I end up with it on my clothing). Gemma just makes it all look so easy 👍
@@gailsykes2691 You're so right, she does, she makes it look like a walk in the park! And it isn't. I know exactly what you mean about the bronzer and the neck. I tell you, bronzer is a complicated product, 🤣😂🤣
Hi Chrissy. You're totally right. Because contour shade is very cool toned, if you have a warm toned skin particularly it can come off a little dirty looking. Just a quick tip though...contour should be barely noticeable to the naked eye so less is always more. The tiniest bit can make a big difference. xxx
But when the temples have gone in, do you put any bronzer? As they will recede more. PS. This matte lipstick suits you better, love it, better than the glossy ones I love both ways but 1 is more obvious
How do I know if a cool toned or warmer bronzer will work better on me? Is it simply a question of whether I am cool, warm or neutral in my undertones?
