Nicol, I am 60 years old and had already given up on wearing makeup, except mascara. My complexion is pretty good, so I could get away with it. I am pretty much homebound now, because of medical issues, so most of the time I wear nothing at al. I began watching your videos a few months ago,, and you have given me new-found hope. I always felt making up was such a hassle. You make it look fun, and have changed my mind. I have also started turning gray,, and am going to embrace it because of you and your videos. Thank you so much for bringing me back and loving what the good Lord gave me.. l

I recently retired and started not wearing make up then I had a why not moment; I have my skin care regime I follow day and night; I want a glow to my face without makeup; I usually add a small amount of concealer buff buff buff then add just to those spots buff buff buff. I add mascara and I'm done. I feel energize even if I'm home; ready for anything.

Get out of here Vitalumiere is also one my fave foundations. I always keep going back to it. As for Bronzer -- I follow Bobbi Brown's technique where you do not use the bronzer in the hollow of your cheeks which in my opinion is where a contour would go which is a cooler more grayish color but I put bronzer more on my cheekbones bc this is where the sun would naturally hit your. But -- you do you. It's just makeup. It's all good. I totally agree with the blush position.

Also I have a new pair of glasses that really shows my 70 yr. old wrinkly under eye area now. It's the first thing I see & it looks like a whitish vast land! 😆 I've always been told that I look very young & all the wrinkles seem to be catching up with me. Lately in my attempt to sweep blush higher on my check bone, I have noticed the blush gets tangled in my hair line and I try to rub it off with a towel, but I never do a good enough job. Thank you for telling us to keep it on your cheek bone and not to go up to the hairline. Can't wait to try that out tomorrow. Also, I do use Velcro rollers when it is date night. They work wonderfully to plump up the volume in my otherwise stick straight hair. And thank you for the bronzer tip. I have so many bronzers and I don't like most of them, not sure why they are not working on me. I will give Physicians Formula a try. Thanks again for the tips on the briushes to use. This was very informative. You might want to explain the "salt scrub". :-)

I remember lining my lips in the 90’s & I I think early 2000? I don’t now I think I stopped actually bc my liner color was discontinued LOL..I like your comment “celebrate your age”.

So pretty if I could just break the habit of doing concealer and foundation first then eyeshadow I will try. I need that ELF brush for bronzer too 🥰

Boy I wish you had the answer for growing thick hair. Mine has always been thin and fine. It would be nice to have a good hairline and thicker hair. Your very fortunate. I like how your makeup is just enough and isn't overdone. That's how I feel makeup should be worn.

I do very light blush work over the bridge of the nose, cheek apples, between the brows and the front of the chin and rub it in. Without fail, my co workers are convinced I went away on vacation because I am glowing.

The 90"s lip liner look is interesting....Nothing can beat the white frosted lip, complemented by the electric blue metallic eye shadow look back in the olden days, LOL.

I want that robe! I thought I was the only one to put giant velcro rollers in my hair while I did my makeup. I have a curling iron and a flat iron but I almost never use them now.

I'm already bronzed, so to speak, but I do like a slight gold sheen. Yours is shaping up nicely. Don't forget the back of your hands for a very subtle bronze.

You are inspiration Nikol ! Love your videos. I have totally white hair & eyebrows for many years now. I've seen the need to change some things with products & applications. You've given me some excellent tips. Also...my cousin's hair is very similar to yours. I told her she had to check-out your channel. She's now a devoted follower as well 😁

I have been told so many times that I look like a Barbie! Way before the Barbie movie!!! I am old school and still love pinks, and hot pinks because I do have blue eyes and blonde hair! Can you do a video for us blonde Barbie girls with blue eyes and pinks? I am not the greatest with make up, so I definitely need help lol.

Hi! Your channel is terrific.Just getting back into makeup after a 12 yr hiatus. Want to try bronzer! When you do the backwards C, are you essentially using bronzer as a way of contouring? Trying to keep things simple, and contouring looks hard. TY!

I find the opposite when I put my eye makeup on first, I’ve tried it, I always end up ruining my eyebrows and mess up the corners of my makeup with my foundation and concealer, or I try real hard not to get so close and I feel you can see where it starts and stops
