      That’s not why he went to court. He went to court for practicing medicine without a license. He got off because he was an herbalist and was doing the job of an herbalist, not a doctor. I love Sebi but people are confused. Go back and listen to him tell the story and you will see why he won. I’m not denying his work but he didn’t win because he cured aids.

    Thanks for sharing this truth. I've been on Dr Sebi's Diet for over 15 years i only followed his list strict for 10 of those years and never broke off of it only added other natural foods to it. None of it includes hybrids. What happens is after a while our normal way of eating disappears. Sometimes I dont eat for 7 days. During that time I don't get any headaches, or pain, or temptation for any food. When my body gets hungry now it just eats a natural food and I'm good to go for another few days. The way my body was before Sebi was nothing like this at all. It's certainly feels impossible for me to get sick. My babies both of them since day one of birth have had nothing but dr sebi list. All through my wifes pregnancy, up until today, and my oldest son is 13 and he's only had foods recommended by dr sebi his entire life. So many real alkaline foods are not on the list, and as you said research is required. My personal alkaline lists has over 15 pages of food items.

    Yes, this is so important for all types of guides and starting points regarding health and wellness! They are all meant as a way to guide you and get you started. Once you get into the groove of things you can begin to intuitively assess and adapt based on what works best for you. I took this approach when adopting a whole foods plant based diet which was really strict about certain things like processed foods including any and all oils. It gave me a significant boost in energy and eventually I got to the point where I could take what I learned to start eating healthy meals (without being so dogmatic about it) but adapting and changing what I was doing based on the needs of my body. Great honest approach, I can appreciate. Due to health reasons I started on this journey, and by the grace of God and following this guide, I have improved immensely, but... Is an extreme restricted lifestyle-didn't say "diet" on purpose, as this is a lifestyle. What this person is saying here, has some validity as well, you will be able to listen to your body's signs and be able to shift accordingly.
    However, if you are struggling with any type of disease, you may need to stick through the Dr. Sebi's protocol. It has been proven that diseases live in an acid forming environment. I'm rooting for you all, God bless, stay healthy!

      A gallon of water was for the purpose of fast or detoxing. After that eating enough fruits can give you enough water. Cucumbers and Watermelons are both high in water. If you get enough water from fruits then you don't need to drink that much during the day.

    • @josephine5809
      @josephine5809 Год назад +11

      Same. The notion of drinking a gallon of water a day is both outdated and technically unsubstantiated. After a certain point, you're washing out minerals and electrolytes. Your kidney will switch from its baseline to a sort of rapid disposal function. The more you drink, the less capability you're giving your body to process the minerals and electrolytes that it needs for better functioning, especially post recovery from working out. The sweet spot for myself and probably the average person is about 2 to 2.5 liters a day. The best way I've heard it put is that you should envision your water intake as filling your tank throughout the day. The idea isn't to overwhelm, it's to keep your tank filled to a certain baseline, and checking on that baseline periodically to know that you're good is key (aka, listening to your body). If your lips are chapped, your skin doesn't feel right, etc, then your body is telling you to refill to baseline, and that you probably need electrolytes as well in the form of pure salt or otherwise. If you workout, the idea isn't to max over that baseline, the idea is to replace the water and electrolytes lost through sweat during your workout, or better yet, to drink electrolytes while you workout for the best endurance. I love water, but drinking a gallon a day always felt weird and forced to the point where one day I asked a health expert to make it make sense. I felt like I was buying supplements just to pee them out, and they agreed. Ultimately I realized that supplements outside of certain minerals weren't the game, and some of this outdated detox info will have you going in circles where your nutrition is concerned. Listening to your body is the bulk of understanding your needs, and listening to relevant and updated help info will usually provide the rest, like people now understanding that different food groups digest differently and probably shouldn't be eaten together, etc.

    What is the essence of “words?” It is THAT which sustains the food you eat and sustains your body, but is neither the food or the body but is beyond both food and body as it is the power that sustains them. And you have DIRECT ACCESS to that essence, in fact, that essence is what you actually are. You’re not a body that needs food. The body, and the food, all needs you.

    • @xavierdegreeves
      @xavierdegreeves Год назад +2

      This isn’t good advice at all. Our bodies take after the earth not the other way around. The human body is only designed to eat foods that was made by natures thought not man’s thought such as hybrid plant matter. No such thing as stopping an alkaline diet because there’s just way to many alkaline foods in the world, all over the globe. Alkaline foods extend well pass his list. Have you been to the jungles of Africa, or Jamaica, or France? If you stop eating his diet and add any sort of acid food not made by nature you will slowly reverse your healing process. This can be very vital, not at first but in a few years this sort of change from alkaline to acid based can really hurt you bad. It just doesn’t feel that way because after following his guide for some time it can make the body feel invincible, so you might try some beans, you might try a slice of cake, or you might add some baking soda to your meals. You won’t realize why Dr sebi said not to do this until years later when the toxins try to pass through your blood and choke your heart. I’ve seen people who stayed on the alkaline diet for 5 years and after eat whatever they wanted, especially those folks who claim to follow their body over a lack of understanding what’s happening inside. It’s these people who truly suffer and it’s sad because they feel so good inside and that’s where things got rough. His guide isn’t a suggestion, it’s not optional, you can’t eat those acid foods and live healthy. Some argue that and say my so and so ate this and lived to 100. To that I say “They could have lived longer” the brain needs to be cleansed deep in order to get the control over us that food matters as much as we say it does. Until you can stop ordering dried herbs and get into nature and eat them from the ground while the stalks is still in the ground then you aren’t fully there yet and that’s ok. Acid food does a lot of damage to our bodies this is why it’s takes so many years to recondition. It takes 7 years exactly to change the genetically predisposition of the human body back to a full alkaline state. I wish Dr sebi was only giving us a suggestion, he’s
      Not. He was serious. I truly hope you rethink this and if you been on his diet for a long time and finally decided to add anything he told us not to add I truly urge you to clean your blood asap.

    the only issue I have, is that unless your kidneys and liver are failing then there's really no reason to 'detox' or 'cleanse'. food is processed thru the gut, a closed system, so eating broccoli is not going to magically pull any siginificant heavy metal contamination out of your body. definitely eat more whole foods then processed, and pay attention to how certain foods react with your body (some folks feel great on a vegan diet and other folks feel great on the carnivore diet - it's all individual).

      Meat is main source of iron. Just veggies and fruits without supplementing will eventually make you B- vitamin defient and low iron, plus mess up amino acids. You will suffer with imbalance, numbness, central nervous issues and weakness from loosing amino acids. Until you get your defiencies back up, your going to suffer.

    Facts! Nothing is set in stone life is constantly evolving. We can study the past to see where we came from, but it's up to us to study what's happening now to know where we're going

    He never wrote that list. He had so much more info but people kept asking the same questions. The info progresses as you progress & be the example. The other info is learning the herbs that heal the body. It's not just seamoss. One develops a need to grow their own sun charged food with seeds & becomes what we once were: custodians of the land to create sustainable communities. We didn't eat food 3+ times a day but we should not be without strength or speed. There are many natural bulk up foods to eat, We need more examples. I had a friend prior to being discovered by Sebi's information that only ate fruit, could jump straight up higher than what a normal person could, amazing tumbler, was brolic & did not smoke or drink. Of course he became a personal trainer & nutritionist to help others but he's just one person. More like him are needed
