This is just beautiful! It gave me shivers when I first heard it when she did her live stream. She is such a genuine person, I had the privilege of meeting her in person when I flew from London to Vancouver for her concert seven years ago, I was booked for the meet and greet anyway, but me and my two other friends are completely blind so going down lots of stairs would have been a logistical nightmare for the people that were guiding us, so she made a special effort to meet us in a private part of the theatre, she was just lovely, we got a hug and we had our pictures taken with her, apparently she genuinely looked pleased to be having pictures with us. It’s a memory I will always cherish for the rest of my life. Her best friend Crystal even came to see us in the interval to see if we wanted any merchandise.

@@SMJM85 Sarah is the most genuine person, and is the one reason I have made it through this pandemic. She dedicated "Angel" to myself and my service dog, Tucker, the first time I met her, and then the next year, she dedicated it again, to myself and my other service dog. I'll never forget her words to me, stay strong, you're beautiful. I don't even know how many times I've seen her now, but it's been far too long. Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to talk to her the last time I saw her in concert, the only time I haven't seen her before or after a show, and it was the worst possible time. My father had died 20 days before the concert, I had found him, it was totally unexpected. I bawled as she sang "Song for my father" and "angel" as we had played it at his funeral. Unexpectedly, Tucker, my first service dog, also passed away 6 months later, and Odie, my retired service dog 10 months after Tucker. Sarah sent her condolences, but I haven't seen her since then, because of the pandemic. i'm literally dying to see her, and just the thought of her comforting hugs is what is keeping me going. I'm also slowly losing my memory, and I am so thankful that her manager and Dan were both able to record both video and pictures for me. I was undergoing treatment the last time I saw her, and I had tickets for the same day I had treatment, and she refused to let me come that night, and switched my tickets for me. In hindsight, I shouldn't have gone, I was really in no condition to be anywhere but bed, you but you couldn't keep me away. I just feel bad because I started bawling as she was leaving, she was literally about to go on stage, and then she started getting teary eyed. I feel horrible for putting her in that position just as she was about to go on, I wish I could take it back. I was so off that night, I don't even remember her hug and kiss, or even if I thanked her for the birthday gift. And I didn't even get a picture either. But she has been so good to me, the world needs more people like her

i will never forget watching her perform at Thunderbird Stadium, UBC Vancouver 1997...she was doing a pre-Lilith Fair show with various female artists; including Paula Cole :) when she performed the song Ice from Fumbling Towards Ecstasy, it was so incredible, so heartfelt and genuine, so in the moment - using the energy of the love from the crowd to energize the whole thing. it brought tears to my eyes. it was profoundly moving and beautiful. that was the first time i'd ever experienced that kind of emotion from a music artist. WOW.
Still writing music for the next album. Crossing fingers for next year release! Other than that not much known, but I’m sure she’s out surfing, being a mom, heading her music schools.
