Hi, great video. I was getting p0201 p0202 p0203 p0204 codes after the dealership pressure washed the engine bay. but no mis-fire detections and no noticeable performance difference. they took it back but whatever they attempted didn't last and the codes came back. I decided to try this myself removing the ECU connectors and cleaning them with the cleaner and drying with compressed air. worked a treat. the codes use to return after a few miles but now have been gone for well over 100 so far. many thanks for the video and detailed instructions.
@@fiveminuteman Hello, My problem has returned, I tried the same thing twice again cleaning the ECU plugs, I have tested the wiring between the ECU block and the injector plugs, dead short. no resistance, measured between the pins on the injectors themselves, around 190k. and no short between the pins and the body of the injector. The car sometimes can hesitate when accelerating but really nothing consistent. I have just swapped injectors 3 and 4 around as cylinder 4 isn't a code that usually surfaces. more commonly cylinder 1, 2 and 3. if you have anything you could suggest i would be grateful. I've spoken to a few mechanics but they don't really seem interested and i don't want to spend a fortune on them diagnosing for a day and not fix the problem. or suggest 4 new injectors and the fault still returns. any help would be great, thanks in advance. the car still drives well before and during fault codes and orange engine light.
@@rossdavis2526 Weird how it's returned and beyond what i did to mine i'm not sure how you can resolve it. I recently read the codes on ours and nothing was registered. Wonder if the ecu took a hit from the pressure washer.
hello I have the same problem with my nissan Qashqai I changed two injectors and the problem came back I went up the wiring harness to the computer after cleaning the pins with a product for electrical contact and the codes came back I I would like to know if you solved the problem
1000 thanks ! Nobody was able to tell me what had my car... i bought New injector etc....nothing Worked I just tried this and it works perfectly now!!! THANKS YOU FROM FRANCE 😁🥳🥳
Hello, I stumbled across your video with my engine management light lit, and a pending P0202 and P0203 code. I tried this fix (doesn't hurt right??) and it did put out the light for 4 months. It's now come back. I guess it's time to take it to a garage or perhaps retry it, but just wanted to pop by and say thank you for taking the time to put this together and with such clarity. I'm not confident working on my car, so really appreciated it.
thanks for this vid it saved me a lot of time for fixing P0202 code for faulty injector N02 code AND WORKED REALLY WELL FOR A ROUGH RUNNING CAR IN LIMP MODE
same error on mrs car, cleared error and its ok so far, but will take for a long drive, if it does it again I'll try the cleaner, however my engine light was on. cheers
I had the exact same error code on the exact same car. Unfortunately, it wasn't that simple in my case, there weren't the connectors and / or cables, it was from the injector's coil.
@@fiveminuteman It's not great, but especially in these times, the diesel consumption of the engine is very good. Anyway, it is getting closer to 300,000 km, I'll change it soon!
Thanks for this, it helped me fix my mother in laws loss of power problem and the P0202. As soon as I cleaned the ECU everything ran like a dream
Great stuff😀

Glad you resolved your issues. Dealerships can be costly out of warranty and not always fixing first time.

Rashid Raja hi I have same problem Nissan qashqai 1.5 2011 dose this work
@@rajinder8644 no idea as i had the car serviced and mechanic checked and injector was bad, had it changed but not driven it much since
I also used a Launch tester, i have a P0202 fault but on dashboard I have Check Engine light, no ESP fault like You. This is the same problem?
Follow my advice in the video and see if that resolves your issue.

It's the worst car i have ever owned.

What did You do?
The injectors plug to the bottom connector! best to remove and carry out full ohm test to each injector 😉
I take it this didn’t cure your error ??
Fully fixed it!!
J'ai le meme problème mais rien ne se passe toujour pareille
Did the engine management light go off automatically after you fixed?
If i remember rightly it did, although i always clear the codes by default after fixing.
An injector cleaner is not the thing to do when you have an open circuit code
Did no harm
What is the thing to do for open injector codes?
