Ryan is Mason’s new coworker and also his bully from middle school. He quickly realizes he is different from before, more approachable and kinder. Mason can’t believe he has actually changed. One night, Ryan takes a drunken Mason home and Mason ends up confronting him. Both of them admit the feelings they had in the past. Mason doesn’t believe him though. Days later, after Mason is forced to ask for help from Ryan, they spend
more time together as retribution. Eventually, Ryan confesses his feelings to Mason but he rejects him because it's too late. But Mason decides to give it a shot after finding out about Ryan’s past and who he is now.

No, a human nature will always be evil
No in some ways they can’t without a lot of hard work on yourself. It is not something that comes easily. This was a great story and I enjoyed the backstories of the characters, it is not something that many stories can get into. Thank you for sharing this story.
Yes, I changed. Once I got clean & sober in '89 and started counseling sessions with an existential counselor, I no longer am closed off to my Shadow (see Carl Jung)and I'm a much fuller person. So if a person is willing to put in the hard work that's required and is willing to be honest with ones self, yes, people can change. I've seen it.
Yes people can change when faced with harsh truth or reality. And, it goes along with saying people deserve second chances when its genuine.
I have seen enough stories where people have been mean to others because they where actually in some kind of trouble themselves, for example in the closet hiding feelings, or something else.
After resolving their issues, as well as by growing up and with enough self reflection, definitely, change is possible.
However, in the case when people their behaviour is due to some kind of mental disorder, things can be much more difficult to change, or even get worse.
PLEASE MAKE A PART 2 WHERE THEY ADOPT THE KIDS, GET PETS, AND MARRY EACH OTHER!! PLEASE. IM ON MY KNEES
Yes! I believe people can change over time or over their life time, if we don't hold onto our options about them. II loved the characters of Ryan and Mason, I wish I had them in my life😊

Kids do dumb things and they don't know any better and bullying is one of those things but as we age we grow and learn about our mistakes, if they make the efforts to show genuine good nature to make things right, then what is the point of holding grudges, a bully turned a friend is a friend till the end.
