Thank you so much for posting this video, lovely stuff. Some amazing VWs there. I'm starting to organise VW events here in Kenya but it's a slow Start!
Classic event Mike. Thanks for sharing with us. Had to chuckle when you said it was a little bit of a drive for you. At 55mph, I'd be lucky to get there in 3 days. Good stuff .
That Bug without the back window glass, no bumpers, running boards and deck lid was partially finished 🤣 That Sahara Beige ‘67 has the look I told you for the ‘68 you just got.
Yea we are on the same track on that one. I am thinking doing a cal style street car with it. I Like original 68 but just too much stuff missing. Probably do a painted dash and some earlier switches. Fill some holes. I do have I think a 65 wiring harness brand new sitting there which would be a huge part of the budget. Maybe put those early tail lights on there. I do like blades though. IDK what year. But sometimes I like the side marker lights on the blades (late ones) and use them as turns. Delete fender ones. Yea it will be something different that is for sure. Will do some more filming and thinking on it.

and I have 65-67 low backs 2 sets. Not sure what year. so that I have too.
The slider windows on the baywindow are an option for 78-79. Easily installed on an early bay and make a bid difference in air flow.
Oh cool. I didnt think they came on early bays. Dont remember much about the late ones.
😍😍😍👍👍👍😁😁😁
Great channel. New vw owner. Do you know if a squareback seat bottom fits fastback?
