Excellent! Thank you. You just saved me 70 Euro + postage for a rebuild. We need so much more of this in our lives - takes me back to when my father fixed EVERYTHING. 💗💗💗
Soooo helpful!!! My puppy ate the sole of mine at the pad of the foot. the quote to fix it was $65!!!! Or a new sole for $125!!! I can buy a new pair almost for just about 3-4” to be fixed. Any suggestions on how to fix that part bc I am about positive that he ate thru that thin piece of material between the layer. Well at least it looks like it has a layer of leather in the sole.
I used the wire brush and seems to have worked However, overtime, the suede lost most of the short hair. I went back to using brush with leather soap for the footbed... I prop it against a fan and run it all night long....

You're welcome!
This is such an amazing tutorial it’s so straight forward and easy to use!! Thank you so much!!!! This is really really great!
This is great. I have to resole my son's Birks and I noticed the cork needs a similar repair. I will be using this method.
that was EXCELLENT!! I really liked the wire brushing of the footbed. Thank you!
Thank you! This is exactly what I was looking for
great work, very helpful, thank you!
Thank you for clear and easy-to-follow directions. What kind of cork did you use and where did you get it?
I got the cork from a pot holder.
Awesome! Thank you

For the sole I have used shoe goo

Thank you for this! Would you have an alternative to the Kelly’s Cork Renew? It is not available in Europe :( Could i use regular wood glue?
No you can’t use regular wood glue. I’m not sure of an alternate glue. Go to a shoe store they might have something.
What is you need to replace the eva grip on the bottom?
which glue did you use to attach footbed to cork?
Rubber contact cement
A nice DIY but I'll just buy a new pair of shoes.......
