I just subscribed. Im happy I've found you. I have several pairs of birkenstocks, and of course, i have one pair that I'm partial to that can not be replaced. Now i know where to go to have them repaired. Thank you for the thorough explanation here.
Understand that company has been sold. Interesting to see if excellence/quality is maintained OR the cost accountants takeover and brand goes the way of so many other excellent brands.
Curious about the smooth leather covered footbeds? I've had two-- one was slick (and annoying), the other was a pluyayo (sp?) which was softer, a slight slight wrinkle/supple texture, and far less annoying. I'd love to understand those better, in particular how to spot the kinder ones and skip the annoying ones.
The smooth leather ones tend to be slippery. They are called EXQUISITE top covers. Sometimes, the cork is covered with the same smooth leather. The suede top covers tend to grab your feet more. . Personally, I prefer suede top covers.
The micro fiber top cover wears well, but I do not have enough analytics to determine it's longevity vs the suede. In my gut, I'd have to say that the suede lasts longer. Comfort wise it is similar.
I don’t know what my shoes size is in eu but I know the a 44 was too big and wide with no support when I tried a pair of Arizona in the store recently.
They changed the names a little while ago. They used to be Narrow and Medium. Now they are Medium/Narrow and Regular/Wide. Us old guys who have been doing it since 1980 still call them by the original widths, sorry for any confusion. Thanks for watching and liking my videos.
I’ve been frustrated when I tried to look for a pair of Birkenstocks that were narrow with high arch support. I will be in touch soon! Thank you!
What size are you looking for? Euro size please.

So far so good. We will have to watch and see what the future holds. I hope everything will be consistent wit the past.
My Mom had Birkinstocks when I was a kid , no wonder she liked them so much, what's the micro wave for ?
It is a convection oven. Watch the video on Fakenstocks and find out, LOL

Which bed works best for plantar fascia
Theoretically, all of them, but personally, I believe, the High Arch or Soft Footbeds will provide more relief.
What an educational video of footbeds! It's good to know because I have another pair of Berks to send you. The classic Arizona from the 90's.
Can you give me your opinion on the vegan microfiber sole is it as durable and comfortable as the others? Thank you for the video which helps a lot😊

Their website says Regular / Wide and Medium / Narrow for their classifications. Maybe that's what you meant? At either rate, I still like your video!
