I've been looking at the renewed 14" M1 MBP as well but also waiting for the 15 " MBA. I think the MB P is a great buy and I don't wanna have to buy a bunch of accessory dongles like HDMI and SD card slots. For anyone who is or was military I think there is a discount for them as well.
It is tough. I think the Pros are overkill for most people but you make a good point that it is probably the best buy rate now if we are talking strictly specs/features for the price.
You read my mind. I got the 14" M1 Pro for $1385 (mil discount) and it looks brand friggin new. This thing is a beast and is the finest computer I have ever held or used. Its mind blowing coming from an Intel based Mac Air.
So funny, this video was essentially my exact thought process. Also, the M1 Macbook Pro 14 Base model has 2 SSD cards instead of 1 SSD on the M2 equivalent, which makes for nearly double read/write speeds!
Check out channels like Maxtech for the exact test numbers. I mostly judge by day to day performance and this thing amazing. I regularly have 7-8 programs open including photoshop, final cut, etc and never experience a slow down
when you get the certified refurbished from apple do you receive the computer completely clean like is every gig of space available to you or do you not get all the 256 gigs from the refurbished?
i have apple ecosystem , I want to learn about video editing and learn alot of things such as graphic design, motion graphics . Should i get the base m2 air or base m1 pro
Which MacBook are you going with right now?
M1 Pro at around $1500 and it ain't even close

This is exactly the review I was looking for, I appreciate it 💪🏾
Glad I could help!
Too bad the ptos aren't full 4k
Awesome video. Honestly I gave up with reviews because they’re talking about things which do not matter. This was perfectly summed up
Thanks for the insight. I’m trying to decide on my next computer and this was helpful! Any advice to share about the CPU and GPU numbers?

Thanks so much!
Which one won't screw me with a flexgate issue?
I don't think these newer MacBooks have this issue
Another option that should be discussed is just adding an external hard drive.
Always an option. I'm more concerned with RAM myself
Last week I got a new M2 MacBook Pro for $1,700 on B&H Photo,
good price!

It’s exactly like new the new one. You get every gig but the software does take up a small bit
i have apple ecosystem , I want to learn about video editing and learn alot of things such as graphic design, motion graphics . Should i get the base m2 air or base m1 pro
If you’re considering video editing and graphic design. I’d highly suggest the pro
what camera do you use? Do you have to wait for a year to get the laptop with new design and 1 year older.
You can get whatever you want buddy. I just think this is the best MacBook for the money right now
