I know when I buy a Vanillaware game it’s going to be a masterpiece!! I got hooked into the demo and I have not been able to stop thinking about it since I finished the demo.
Been playing the demo on PS5 and oh my god this game was all that I wanted since Final Fantasy Tactics or Final Fantasy XII ! It has it all and more and I just scratched the surface. Vanillaware is becoming my favourite studio at this point.
I don't know if you've heard of Grand Knights History, since it's overshadowed by Ogre battle as being the inspiration, but I'm so happy UO is kind of a spiritual successor oh GKH, which has very similar art, type of game, and is also made by Vanillaware. Really enjoying the open world nature of the game. Running into each battle with a scene delving into new and old characters. The battle system reminds me of Phantom Brave and Makai Kingdom with the proximity based fighting and deploying from bases. At first all the options and roles seem overwhelming, but after looking at everything closer it’s surprisingly straightforward. I also haven’t found immediate need to upgrade equipment frequently. 13 Sentinels is one of my favorite games EVER. Absolutely amazing, and can't wait to play this! Already ordered the Monarch Edition. Atlas & Vanillaware deserve our support for creating such unique and quality games!!!
I literally used the exact same description to my friend when talking about the game "this game is going to be so big, it's pretty much the elden ring of strategy games." It makes me happy that I'm not alone with that take ❤
So far, I'm absolutely amazed with the demo and the game itself. Im overjoyed with the effort put into the game. The effort put into making sure that the player understands the setting and mechanics is a show of love. Everything about the demo, and so far the game, makes me happy ❤❤❤
Great vid, excited for this game. One thing to note is that Vanillaware has made an SRPG before, Grand Knights History, but it only came out on PSP in Japan afaik.
I haven't played it, but ever since 13 sentinels i have been on love with vanillaware. Their games are kisses to the gaming community. I NEVER preorder games but this game is deserving of that
Hey, Titanium, wanna hear some funny or interesting german localisations? For example Valor points are called "Bravour points" in german. Also Alains valor commands instead of being called "Valorous Order" and "Royal Order" are a little differentiated with the former being called "Call to Valor/Bravery" and "Royal Decree" respectively. The Knights Assaulting Lance is simply called "Tjost", which is the german word for "Jousting". Thieves PP stealing is translated to "Passivdiebstahl", which is literally translated to "Passive Theft". I find the implication hilarious that in Fevrith thieves are so good at their jobs they can apparently steal without actively trying. Also, turning thieves into dodge tanks is such a neat idea and surprisingly effective..... But my absolute favorite skill is Gladiators self heal "Muscle pumping". The sight of Bruno healing himself by flexing with a happy grin on his face never fails to crack me up. His voice lines also add to it, his VA did a fantastic job.^^
I'm going to drop my comp on this as well: this is the baldur's gate 3 of SRPGs. looks like GOTY indeed. and the best part, just like Larian's masterclass, no microtransactions with tons of content! after playing the demo, i'm sold. getting this game early now. wasn't committed to a day 1 buy due to my apprehensions about open world and the item hunting/mini-games but the system/combat mechanics sold me. now moving to a day 1 buy and looking forward to all the build/team/gambit crafting! thanks for keeping me in the loop about this game and looking forward to mechanics discussion vids: gambit setups, team combos, equip/class builds, etc.
Honestly, this demo is incredible. Simply giving you access to the entire first main quest to save Scarlett while also putting a VERY GENEROUS time limit on it so you cant just play forever was the perfect setup for a tutorial, especially for this kind of game. Since so much time is spent in menus, reading, watching scenes, or walking around, i feel like they couldnt just throw us into a random part of the game. Most people will definitely need the tutorial if nothing else. I actually didn't even finish the tutorial because I didn't want to get too invested only to have to then full stop for the next 2 weeks until release. I felt better personally just getting enough understanding to get a feel for the main gameplay and campaign. I managed to knock out a couple of sidequests in the southwestern region and level up to Renown Rank D, so I at least did enough to get the ball rolling. more than likely I will ignore my save data and just start over when the game drops just for the brief refresher, but I'll try to do everything I did the first time in order to not deviate too much from my current path. I like where I was headed to, and was interested to see more. I am so excited for this game. I've never played a demo so fun that I had to quit it early just to keep myself from getting too invested. I knew I'd like the game, but i did not expect it to be as fun and high quality as it actually is. I am dying for March 8th, man. UNtil then, I will be playing Sea of Stars. Hopefully I can beat the game by them, but I need to be diligent with my time. If I'm not done by March 8th, the game is getting dropped for Unicorn Overlord. I am just too excited for this game.
Two hours in myself and the demo is excellent on nearly every count; my main reservation so far is, I kinda wish the battlefield strategy layer was handled more like in Symphony of War. The real-time movement element--while conceptually cool--makes it difficult for me to control my units with precision.
I would still prefer to have direct control of my units in combat but having said that, it is fantastic. I had a lot of fun and that's the most important thing.
I'd argue that you have a lot more control than in a game like fore emblem. Also, considering how often combat happens, (like 15+ combats per encounter) itd be a chore to have to have to input attack commands turnbased style for each of your troops each time. Id say just play the demo. Going auto with the ffxii gambit style system was the better decision imo
@@degreeskelvin3025 I did play the demo. It's great. I'm not even saying they made the wrong choice. My point also has nothing to do with the amount of control. I'm simply saying that I prefer direct control because I find it more engaging. I made no statement about what would or would not be better.
This is in my genre of games. I play so many strategy jrpg. Im about to complete Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and i already pre-ordered unicorn overlord ever sense it was shown on Nintendo Direct. Only game that stood out on it to me.
It reminds me of fire emblem sacred stones which was the my first introduction in these types of games In my mere 2 hours of playing the demo i already give this game 10 out of 10 It gives you story and yet with balanced combat to boot The delivery quests are to hard to complete so building a town up isn't a chore to complete
I played the PS5 demo.. I knew going in that it had a time limit, but I didn't know it was 7 hours until I looked at the clock. It didn't feel like 7 hours. I spent 7 hours in this demo thinking it was, at most, 2. March can't come fast enough..
At the end of my trial I got to a significant battle- I can see where this is going and it seems really refreshing. It’s hard and I can’t just phone it in. At first I was disappointed without perma death but after playing it, I kinda understand.
I do think you're onto something with this being a sort of gateway strategy RPG, because I... am not a fan of the SRPG genre. I don't hate it, it just never clicked. I tried Final Fantasy Tactics, Fire Emblem, even Wild Arms XF, and was just sort of... meh. I am, however, a fan of Vanillaware. So, I heard about this (and the fact that the physical Monarch Edition comes with a deck building card game) and while hesitant, decided to check it out. The demo surprised me as it just felt... smooth. I don't know how else to describe it. I've only played a few hours, but it just works for me. And while it may not convert me into a die hard SRPG fan who will marathon Fire Emblem while playing Tactics Ogre on the side, I can say that it at least has me interested in giving some of the games another chance.
I played the demo and was immediately vindicated in my preorder. Fire Emblem will always be my tactical/sRPG fave, but this was just right up there on demo alone
As long as the video doesn't get a strike against it, there's nothing wrong with copyright hits. I have a bunch of videos with copyright hits on it but they can still be shown.
@@TitaniumLegman Definitely an annoyance when they decide to do that. I've debated on pulling some of my videos when that happens (appealing it seems to usually get rejected), but at the end I figure oh well lol... as long as the viewers enjoy the content.
I'm loving the demo. It definitely scratches the Ogre Battle itch. I think some games try to distinguish themselves from their inspirations and get a bit lost in doing so, but this game took the core of what people loved about Ogre Battle and added to it, at least gameplay-wise. The storytelling isn't up to par from the demo content, but that just prevents a game from being S tier for me. It's clearly an A tier or B tier at minimum game. I hope it brings more people into the genre. I kind of feel like in some cases, it looks at a common mechanic that March of the Black Queen and Person of Lordly Caliber did differently and then... finds a happy middle round (sometimes with a twist). It does a good job of explaining mechanics, too, that other games may have had and got lost in the shuffle. MotBQ had an issue where one gryphon in a unit made them high flight and OP. PoLC set units to have the movement type of their slowest unit, which felt kind of bad. (Oh, you want a HEALER? Great, this group's movement type is now MOLASSES.) Making the leader the one who determines the movement type and balancing that around other potential leader perks worked well. Then being able to spend a whossoname thing to change leaders mid-battle was a nice twist: start out gryphons, fly fast, then land with a new leader. They even warn you about how lancers/gladiators work and that you need to adjust your party formation on the fly, something that PoLC assumed you'd do but never actually taught players. I feel like selection units to move as a group, plus swapping, plus support attacks is essentially PoLC's infamously bad legion system... made good. Something I would not have thought possible. I hope we get a ton of new autobattler SRPGs, including a new Ogre Battle, and I hope that for their gameplay, Unicorn Overlord sets the baseline expectations. If that happens, we'd get a golden age of SRPG autobattlers.
I played the demo for 6 hours, I have never seen a demo lasting so long, that game is really perfect in my opinion I love everything about it, also I am happy because we get Ochlys early game and she is my favorite
I am glad this game had a demo because I was really leaning towards not getting it because I'm awful at real time strategy but this is closer to simultaneous turns rather than real time which is a little new for me but still something I'm comfortable doing. I went from likely no to likely yes once I'm done playing Persona 3 Reload.
This demo is so much fun. I feel like I can sink 100+ hours into this game. If FF7 rebirth isn’t coming out next week, I would be 100% focusing all my efforts into this game. I’m going to wait for a sale to get this down the line
so im putting a SPECULATED/GUESS on how the story will unfold. i want to see what people think and when the game comes out i want to see if i got it right or close to target. POTENTIAL SPOILER below read at your own risk i think big bad boogie man isnt the actual bad guy. i think hes being mind controlled like many others you run into. i also think that allains mother is alive and twisted like the other 3 kings/queens. for a brief second you see 4 baddies in the intro/outro video then you see the main bad guy. i think thats also why scarlett was kidnapped shes either royalty or has special power like the other royalty. i think theres more to the unicorn ring too. like its a seal for the great evil or it has a sister ring the true bad guy has. oh well iam actually excited for a game and its been a while. i cant wait to play it more. did anyone else notice anything or thinks itll unfold a different way ? i wonder if there will be 3 endings too? one good, one bad, and then the true ending
as I said, played like an hour of the demo, decided yup that's enough this is peak and I want to experience it all when it comes out, and put it down. what I saw was incredibly impressive. I'm also a huge Vanillaware fan so I was always going to buy this, but I will say their stories tend to start off smaller and then get big, so I'm really excited to see where this story goes in addition to the quite frankly insane amount of extremely high quality gameplay content unlike you, I'm not super confident this will sell super well because well it's gotta come out around a certain little game called Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. but I have faith this'll have decent legs, if 13 Sentinels and Triangle Strategy can
This and eiyuden chronicles are most anticipated releases. Very exciting releases this year for rpg fans. Dragons dogma 2 and final fantasy 7 rebirth are right behind those. Kinda happy I have to wait for ff7 on PC
I would highly recommend playing Ogre Battle 64 if you haven't before. Since Unicorn Overlord is basically the spirtual successor to Ogre Battle (while adding in some fire emblem elements). If you'd like to play another great Vanillaware title, I highly recommend Odin Sphere remaster on the PS4. Its a 2D beat em up title. Gameplay can get repetitive, but its got amazing art and music. Good story as well.
i'm in love with this game... actually it wasnt in my radar till 2 weeks a go... the demo is great. i actually not going to buy rise of the ronin to get this... unicorn overlord and dragon's dogma II!!! go go go!!! i hope i finish FF VII Rebirth before Unicorn Overlord release.. My only doubt was to get the switch or ps5 version... after the demo i chose the ps5 version.. the resolution is far greater and some effects i didnt notice on switch.. By the way, great content!! got a new subscriber from Brazil!
I had played the demo and I am really enjoyed it. I think it's the GOTY on Strategy side. I am very impressed by the units they have and there are quite a lot of depth into them plus how to form difference strategies to clear difference battles. Going into one without thinking ahead and observing the enemies is going for a failure as I can see. I had already pre ordered it since the first time I saw the announcement. I will be coming here to see more guides and discussion on the game when it's launched on next month.
Loving the videos. I'm hyped.. but can't watch them all need to discover myself but come back for tips. Day work from home today so I know what I'm doing later

Dang. Now I'll have to convince a friend to lend me a console so I can play this. Feels bad when games like this don't come to PC. Symphony of War is a great one! Highly recommend to anyone who likes these types of games.
It's well past time that we get a worthy Ogre Battle successor in the original format. I highly recommend you play March of the Black Queen and Ogre Battle 64- both titles absolutely hold up.
I had to force myself off when i got to the angel lass.. I saw how much time i had left n had to slam on the breaks. Very generous demo but i wanted to save the rest for launch because i knew i was getting it day one at that point.
Idk about game of the year. Even just talking Japanese games just February and March is the most stacked I have ever seen in my entire life. Granblue Fantasy Relink, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Dragon's Dogma 2, and also Unicorn Overlord. All 4 of these games are looking to be amazing. I preordered all of them. I have not bought a full priced new game since Spiderman 2. No shade to Unicorn Overlord though I am super excited for it and have high expectations. Just like all 4 of these games coming out at once is crazy. So far Relink has been quite fun and I even enjoy it a bit more than Monster Hunter. Just lack of crossplay and my PC being unable to run it have lessened the game a bit for me. Then in 5 days FF7 Rebirth will come out.

I played through the 7hrs allowed in a single playthrough, and I enjoyed it. I felt it tickled all my ogre battle cravings. I'm completely happy with the decision to buy the special edition. I'll definitely be losing sleep once the game comes out in full. I won't go into the positives, but rather go into what I think may be negatives. -So far every name enemy, is a good guy in actuality, which kinda bothers me. I hope this isn't going to be the case throughout the whole game. And I kinda wince a bit with the worry of Alain being too goody goody, but thankfully, you get the option to make the decisions for Alain to either execute or spare enemies. So that's one relief. -Probably because I'm a diehard OB fan, and felt completely at home, the game felt a bit too easy. Pro-Tip, deploy appropriate counters on each map and you'll have a much easier time (for example, there's a map with 90% cavs, a single griffin knight team can clean the map),, if you don't use the right units, it'll definitely feel hard and unfair, because if the enemy counters you, they can easily overwhelm you. This will probably change in the late game though, as enemy variety will probably be greater the further you go out. -Currently, there's no way to train newly recruited units. There is an item that can give you xp, but those are limited resources, so it makes it a bit harder to try out things without a training option. Though thankfully new joined npcs, join you at usable levels, so no training is required. That's about it in terms of "negatives". Definitely not enough to deter my hype for the game.
Seeing the praise for this game and playing the demo makes me realize how much Square-Enix dropped the ball by not revisiting the Ogre Battle games. Tactics Ogre is great, but i've always enjoyed Ogre Battle more. We couldn't have asked for a better studio to bring a spiritual successor out though, as Vanillaware makes beautiful games.
This really is the Dark Souls of dating sims (just joking... mostly). After getting hands-on time with the demo I just know this is going to be a solid game. Release date can't come soon enough
I've never really been a fan of RTS. I've enjoyed turn-based strategy like fire emblem or Civilization, but RTS always put me off. After watching TLs videos I got interested and have been following Unicorn Overlord. When the Demo dropped I downloaded and played and have some thoughts: How long until March 8th?
The game is amazing. And I love that you give it so much coverage . Props. Though I feel when you talk about it you don’t give Ogre Battle enough credit. The game is more similar to that game than Tactics Ogre or Fire Emblem. In fact when u say you’ve never seen a game like it, it’s not true since the game is clearly a spiritual successor to Ogre Battle and Ogre Battle 64. But yeah excellent game that takes the best of Ogre Battle, modernizes it, and adds in some FE as well. Keep up the coverage👍
In fairness to Tom he’s not played the original OB, so while he knows intellectually that it’s the primary gameplay inspiration he can’t draw on it as experience for UO..
Wow! Great game! I was reading about it and watched some videos and I was ok, quite boring - I will never buy it and then I played the demo yesterday and the presentation, the whole production are fantastic!! The presentation is even better from some titles like Fire Emblem! I didn't expect that I would be so excited!!! 😲
I've played for 3 hours and everything seems very good to me. But the only thing I didn't like was that the battles were automatic, I would have preferred to choose the attacks during my turn, not have the AI choose it for me.😮💨
funny part is on your demo run, you went north after getting the hunter class, i went south for the gladiator. and i noticed the map drops are not refreshing and im nearly 42min till demo time is up. did you have any reset on your full run?
If you ever get the chance to play Dragon's Crown it's like the best beat'em up...ever. I've yet to find a better one lol. Vanillaware has a tendency to make absolute bangers. So when I first saw this I was like "So they're making a modern day Ogre Battle....This is huge!"
9:10 FE Engage catching strays 😂 Its really sad that engage had soo much love put into its presentation and gameplay but the story and characters was sooo off putting that it tanked the experience. really? It's so big?
@@derekjermain it’s essentially 7 hours of the game nearly completely unrestricted. Even with all that time I’m about to run out it before I even complete the demo’s objective.
*clutches his Switch close to his chest, ugly crying while kneeling on the floor* "MARCH 8TH! MAAARRRCCCHHHH 8TH!!!!! AAAAAAHHHHHHHH"
strategy RPGs have niche audience, hopefully this makes more people play strategy RPGs , I have great memories about FFT. Love strategy games with politics
13 Sentinels is one of my favorite games EVER. Absolutely amazing, and can't wait to play this! Already ordered the Monarch Edition. Atlas & Vanillaware deserve our support for creating such unique and quality games!!!
I sold my OLED Switch to my kid when I got a Steam Deck. I just bought a new Switch (sadly not OLED) to play this game specifically.
I really like those interpretations for Alain's valor skills, feels far more regal than before. And yes, Bruno is a delight.
@@TitaniumLegmanOh and while watching your other video i noticed one additional thing about Alain. "Lean Edge" is called "Noble Blade" in german.
@@aureliodeprimus8018 that's so much better too, wow.
Keep up the good work man.
Your dedication to covering this game has been exemplary.
I finished 3 different playthrough of the demo. I felt empty for not being able to play further. Can't wait for the March 8th release.
Same here, what a blast. I even played a: Savior? More like under new management. No mercy, pilfer all thats possible.
I would still prefer to have direct control of my units in combat but having said that, it is fantastic. I had a lot of fun and that's the most important thing.
That’s completely fair and valid, but the funny thing is if you really mess with move programming you pretty much can have complete control
@@slufffyg503 I believe you. I just prefer direct control. I find it more engaging personally.
@@digitaldevil7522 ok cool no pb. Just got the impression you think direct control would be better
This is in my genre of games. I play so many strategy jrpg. Im about to complete Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and i already pre-ordered unicorn overlord ever sense it was shown on Nintendo Direct. Only game that stood out on it to me.
Side order has taken up most of my gaming time right now, but I will get the the demo as soon as I can. Can't wait
It reminds me of fire emblem sacred stones which was the my first introduction in these types of games
In my mere 2 hours of playing the demo i already give this game 10 out of 10
It gives you story and yet with balanced combat to boot
The delivery quests are to hard to complete so building a town up isn't a chore to complete
Between this coming out and the stellar reviews for Rebirth, I’ll be in gaming heaven soon.
As long as the video doesn't get a strike against it, there's nothing wrong with copyright hits. I have a bunch of videos with copyright hits on it but they can still be shown.
Yes, but they can't be monetized.
POTENTIAL SPOILER below read at your own risk
i think big bad boogie man isnt the actual bad guy. i think hes being mind controlled like many others you run into.
i also think that allains mother is alive and twisted like the other 3 kings/queens. for a brief second you see 4 baddies in the intro/outro video then you see the main bad guy.
i think thats also why scarlett was kidnapped shes either royalty or has special power like the other royalty.
i think theres more to the unicorn ring too. like its a seal for the great evil or it has a sister ring the true bad guy has.
oh well iam actually excited for a game and its been a while. i cant wait to play it more.
did anyone else notice anything or thinks itll unfold a different way ?
i wonder if there will be 3 endings too? one good, one bad, and then the true ending
as I said, played like an hour of the demo, decided yup that's enough this is peak and I want to experience it all when it comes out, and put it down. what I saw was incredibly impressive. I'm also a huge Vanillaware fan so I was always going to buy this, but I will say their stories tend to start off smaller and then get big, so I'm really excited to see where this story goes in addition to the quite frankly insane amount of extremely high quality gameplay content
unlike you, I'm not super confident this will sell super well because well it's gotta come out around a certain little game called Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. but I have faith this'll have decent legs, if 13 Sentinels and Triangle Strategy can
Had the game on my wishlist but wasnt if i should buy it. NOW i will definitly get it after playing the demo
This and eiyuden chronicles are most anticipated releases. Very exciting releases this year for rpg fans. Dragons dogma 2 and final fantasy 7 rebirth are right behind those. Kinda happy I have to wait for ff7 on PC
I was likely getting the game anyway, but I would say I was more curious than actively excited before this video. Now you can consider me hyped
About to play the demo Thanks for the info got my collectors edition pre ordered it looks amazing Vanillaware does such beautiful art work ❤
Unbelievable game I’m a huge fantasy book fan and really loving the fact I can create my own malazan marine squads. So much fun
So is this like
A love child to the orginal ogre battle-
Loving the videos. I'm hyped.. but can't watch them all need to discover myself but come back for tips. Day work from home today so I know what I'm doing later
Enjoy your time with the demo then ZeNex! We'll be here once you've gotten your hands on it and are looking for more info and discussion. 😁
being able to play a seven hour demo of this game feels illegal.
Help! I'm addicted to this game! I want someone to put met to sleep for 2 week and wake me up when the game release.
Or give me a time machine. This game is so freaking good ~
I played 5 mins of the demo and knew i was gonna get it so ill just wait for the full release
Forgot to mention the FFXII Gambit system.
Dang. Now I'll have to convince a friend to lend me a console so I can play this. Feels bad when games like this don't come to PC. Symphony of War is a great one! Highly recommend to anyone who likes these types of games.
I'm so thankful that a game this good is a spiritual successor to ogre battle 64. Clearly the developers had a vision.
Will your demo progress move to the real game? Or do we have to start from scratch?
You do carry your progress over.
Not to mention Persona 3 Reload and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth! Absolutely stacked quarter
@@thetickingman I don't know too much about those 2 games I was just mentioning the games I have been excited for but yeah those games might turn out great too.
@@winghong3 he didn't say that though he said game of the year and it may not even be game of the month.

But you say Angels are to the south eh?
Loved the streams, my dude. Will probably not catch on to your playthroughs cuz I will be losing myself in this game blind
Absolutely understandable. God speed soldier. o7
All of the best games in the last two years have been on gamepass shit is incredible everytime i pick up my PlayStation after 20 minutes i’m hopping right on my xbox to play these titles
i only fear that the demo is a quarter of the final content cuz this is too good to be true

Thank you for the content! Absolutely sold on this one!
What is the music playing in the background during the first half of the video ?
It's the 13 Sentinels soundtrack - same music team as Unicorn Overlord
@@thetickingman thanks !!
Im definitely going to double back to this after dragons dogma 2.
Honestly, I wouldn't normally go for the "dark souls of" style statement, but when someone brought it up in my chat it just... Resonated.
I've never really been a fan of RTS. I've enjoyed turn-based strategy like fire emblem or Civilization, but RTS always put me off. After watching TLs videos I got interested and have been following Unicorn Overlord. When the Demo dropped I downloaded and played and have some thoughts:
How long until March 8th?
I haven't really played a lot of RTS game either and I love this game so much.
Will you be doing strategy vids?
Absolutely. Already have some stuff loosely scripted, but I want to test a few more things in the demo before I start putting them out.
I will buy this game, the time limit for the Demo is the perfect bait, I take this with the hook, line and sinker any day.
Ogre Battle is the Unicorn Overlord we have at home
After finishing the demo I’m going to play OB64 again to tide me over until full release
Ogre Battle 64 two!!! That's incredible!
I honestly hope it comes to PC, I always loved the Tactic RPG games.
"This is the Elden Ring of Strat RPGS."
Me who has no idea what Elden Ring is: "I guess that's good?"
also. poor fire emblem engage. you're a good name lol i still love ya
That's incredibly impressive tbh.
Hey! What IS playing in the background then if you cannot use the music from the game? Specifically what starts at 0:37; a music credits used please!
It's all music from dragons crown and 13 sentinels.

The presentation is even better from some titles like Fire Emblem! I didn't expect that I would be so excited!!! 😲
It is great, cant wait aany longer, Last year i made the preorder 😊
I've played for 3 hours and everything seems very good to me. But the only thing I didn't like was that the battles were automatic, I would have preferred to choose the attacks during my turn, not have the AI choose it for me.😮💨
When you go into the menus you can see that you can program tactics- the depth will be insane between tactics, units and positioning alone
Like the above comment said, you can literally control how the matches go prior to the battle with the tactics menu.
@@jarjarv1 Not really keen to set up computer programing scenarios in a video game

Does anyone know if the progress in the demo can be transferred to the actual game or will we not know until release?
It does indeed transfer
super hype for this game, i really hope it gets the attention it deserves
funny part is on your demo run, you went north after getting the hunter class, i went south for the gladiator. and i noticed the map drops are not refreshing and im nearly 42min till demo time is up. did you have any reset on your full run?
I did not. People in my chat who got further than I said it takes NUMEROUS missions to respawn.
If you ever get the chance to play Dragon's Crown it's like the best beat'em up...ever. I've yet to find a better one lol. Vanillaware has a tendency to make absolute bangers. So when I first saw this I was like "So they're making a modern day Ogre Battle....This is huge!"
Straight up, go play 13 sentinels. I loved that game so much it's insane.
I want to so bad but never have the time. Hopefully this year. 😭
9:10 FE Engage catching strays 😂
Its really sad that engage had soo much love put into its presentation and gameplay but the story and characters was sooo off putting that it tanked the experience.
Unicorn Overlords story, at least so far, is still pretty generic, yet it doesnt feel like something i cant recommend to friends
